The waterproof construction of these lights make them ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. Each circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.
To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.
A P2-rated or P3-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

Bright lights. Used on EZ loader jetski trailer. Had to drill new mounting holes to fit existing bracket. Comes with steel plated fasteners which I substituted with stainless steel. Have not submersed the lights yet. Say they are submersible. Always a challenge with boat trailers keeping lights working properly. Hoping these LEDs last a long time.
So far so good. I've had miserable experiences with trailer lighting in general so if these make it more than two years without failing I'll call that a win. The Optronics products overall seem to be good quality and at a good price. I've replaced all the side markers with the Optronics and those have been working well too. That said, I keep spares on hand. I also apply dielectric grease to all wire connections and try to reapply that grease once or twice a year.
Order arrived before expected delivery date. Easy installation and great price. Much brighter than original trailer lights.
Simple to install and 100% better than what came with the trailer. If I knew then what I know now...I would have replaced the lights years ago before I had to deal with a replacement at an inopportune time.

Continues to work like new. Dependable lights that I can count on.
Very satisfied with the combination trailer tail lights. Much brighter than the original lights. Fit was perfect, no alterations were needed.
I was an Idiot last week and broke my drivers side light , so I bought a new pair ,very simple to install and they look good right next to my roller guides

Installed them a few hours ago and am finally able to see my keyboard to review. Bright , very bright. Don’t look directly at them while your wife presses the brake pedal , it’s like looking into the sun !
Package delivered promptly. Appeared packaged well. Lights installed easily and operate without issue whatsoever. I decided to purchase this particular brand from this particular retailer because of the lifetime warranty on the LEDs and etrailer's positive reputation.
I am, however, a little disappointed that the lens of one of the lights looked a little scuffed up... as if it had been rubbing against the inside of the plastic packaging. I know things like this don't remain pristine forever, but when you purchase something new you want it to look that way!
Exact fit for my 1992 Lowe boat trailer, I am well pleased! Etrailer never lets me down!
Light look great, not much for instructions but was simple enough. product is 5 start, etrailer delivery service is 1 start, if you need product on time I would suggest shopping at another sight!

Very nice product, but one of the lenses have small scratches on it, I will try some Plexus to see if I can make look new again. But overall a nice product.

Easy install, matched right up with the factory halogen setups. These are nice and bright to include the license plate light. Very happy with them and they seem quality enough to last a good while. Would recommend to a friend.

Decided to change all the lights on my boat trailer to LED. These were easy to install, and work well.
Seem good so far but the recessed area in the back could be deeper to accommodate wiring better
The Optronics LED Combination Trailer Taillights are still working like new after 1 year. They are very bright for extra safety when stopping and pulling a Trailer on the expressway. I highly recommend them.

I have used the trailer lights for a year now and I don’t worry about the lights anymore. They work great.
