Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The housing and lens are sonically sealed together to create a single unit, which means that water will not get into the light and damage the diodes or circuit board.

P2-Rated Lights

Diagram of light spread for P2 rated light

A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.

We had no issues with this product - worked very well

by:

Very easy to install and look great. Much brighter than the original lights that came on the trailer.

by:

Nice bright light! Much better that the standard lamps on my boat trailer.

by:

Product exactly as pictured and exactly the same as the one that got replaced on the trailer.

by:

Light is as described. Superbright leds, and bigger than it looks online. Lots of wire for any install. etrailer shipping is the best.

by:

Like these lights very much. Occasionally the ground on them will fail as I use it on a boat trailer that hits salt water. But 7 out of 10 of them have lasted for more than 4 seasons of use in salt water.

by:

A high quality product for a reasonable price. This is a direct replacement for the broken incandescent clearance light on my boat trailer. I bought two so both sides will match. These look so sharp, that I now feel compelled to replace all my trailer lights with LED units. I'll be sure to order them all from etrailer.com

by:

Mounted these replacement side markers over a year ago and they are still working like new. They are frequently submerged in both fresh and saltwater. Good quality product.

It’s been two years now on these lights. They’ve seen a lot of road miles and have been under water frequently. No problems, no issues.

by:

Wow what a product! I plugged this light into the trailer wiring harness and bam the light came on and all of the sudden I am DOT legal again! For the win.

by:

Installation is super easy. Much better than the flush plugs on the other options models. Lights brightly.
Specs should include the following:
Mounting hole needs 1/4 inch minimum, and nut is 10mm.

by:

Easy transaction. New lights look great!

by:

After I installed the lights it has been working well ever since.

by:

I’ve had them on my boat trailer for over a year still working great Thanks, etrailer great product

by:

Nice and bright and an exact replacement for my trailer!

by:

Exceptional customer service, highly recommend etrailer for your hard to find parts.

by:

Easy Install. Worked as expected. Appear to be waterproof.

Still going strong despite plenty of salt water exposure.

by:

Nice set of lights, work well and are bright. shipping was slow but not the fault of etrailer USPS is the slowest in the shipping business.

by:

high quality, quick shipping

by:

Very easy to install and look great on trailer. Low profile and small but very bright LED's. They really look much better than the old bulb type I had on there before. I have not "dunked" them in the salt water yet but hopefully they will hold up.

the submersible LED trailer lights are still shining as bright as ever despite repeated dunking in salt water for the past year. These have been a great purchase.

by:

Very bright, very easy install; only reason for 4 stars is bc I just installed them and can't speak for their longevity; I drilled a small hole in my trailer next to the main mounting hole to poke the wire through, so as not to see the wire; looked very nice.

As of the last time I launched which was in November the lights still worked great. They have been fully submersed many times in either fresh or salt water.

I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness.
I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found ETRAILER. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to ETRAILER and specifically to Rose G.

by:

Good quality running light

by:

A bit smaller than the ones I am replacing- so the wire feed is exposed on the outside of the trailer frame. Also, they were not packaged individually, and some of the hardware was missing.

by:

Timely shipment of the exact items I viewed online and needed to repair my boat trailer. I will go back to etrailer when I need items in the future. Price was also fair. Thanks etrailer.

  • Troubleshooting LED Lights on 2008 Shadow Horse Trailer
Since most of your trailer lights are functioning I would check the two subject lights' mounting and wiring for the cause for the problem. If the light uses a mounting stud or mounting hardware to establish the ground, like # MCL95AB, then you can try sanding/cleaning the mating surfaces to remove any corrosion, dirt or trapped moisture that could be interfering with the electrical connection. Also inspect the wiring for signs of damage from road debris or hungry critters. Once you have...

There are a number of potential issues that could be causing your running lights not to work, but you will have to troubleshoot the problem with some detail.
