I purchased this light bar to replace another LED light bar that failed after one season's use on my boat trailer. This bar appears to be better sealed than the previous bar and is still shining brightly a year later. I found that the mounting holes didn't quite align with the holes from the two previous light bars so it required drilling new holes (and replacing a broken drill bit along the way).

This rear clearance light was original on my Baxley Ride On Trike Trailer and it worked well. When trike wouldn't start, I left trike on trailer at my mechanics. When I picked it up, light bar was broken off, although mechanic didn't take responsibility for doing it. So I am replacing it with the same assembly.

All of the items I’ve ordered over the past five years have been as described, always fit as shown and are totally satisfactory in their function and appearance. I design for looks and the variety of lights and videos of how they’ll appear have helped me immensely in the redesign of my classic GT race car’s taillights (and its trailer’s lights too which have arrived and are waiting to be installed).

A year and thousands of miles later, the lights still work flawlessly.

I want to thank you for all your help with my trailer you were more helpful than you realize. So this is my trailer for a 22' Flats Cat shallow draft Catamaran. I totally dismantled my trailer and buffed by hand with a wire buffer and sand blasted in some spots and applied multiple coats of some very expensive galvanize paint (Z.R.C.). I installed all new C. E. Smith Carpet (about 80'), seven new LED waterproof lights, new springs, new equalizers, new tongue jack, new wench, new safety chain, new chain brackets, all new SS hardware and a 35' long wiring harness. I was able to send only one review with a picture of the safety chain and brackets. I'm having a little trouble with the rest..oh some of these items were bought locally or from your competitors, until I found etrailer. Your prices were cheaper for the exact same things. Your helpful how to videos were helpful. And Rose, your personal helpful knowledge made my buying experience very pleasant, I actually enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to etrailer and specifically to Rose G.

Easy to wire, and connect to trailer. lights are bright, just what I wanted. the only problem I had was one red cover kept coming off. Fortunately, I never lost it. I added some adhesive and all is well.

Good product. I just installed it so I can not vouch for longevity. The factory halogen single wire setup on my boat trailer was failing within a year, so I did a complete trailer light overhaul. This light bar is nice and bright, and with it being sealed LEDs SHOULD last quite a while. The plastic does seem a little flimsy, but I bet I won’t have any issues with it unless I somehow smack it into something. Can’t really see the whole light in my photo, but you can see how bright the one light that isn’t hidden by the motor is. In short, I would recommend this light.

My old light bar had rusted off more than 20 years ago. I finally decided to refit my entire trailer with new lights, and in the process, got a new LED light bar. This was a prefect replacement. Just had to drill a couple of new holes and I was set in less than 20 minutes. Better yet, each light on this bar is replaceable, so no need to replace the entire bar if one goes out. But since these are LEDs, I don't expect they will in my lifetime. Great job etrailer!

This Optronics LED light bar is BRIGHT! I decided to upgrade all my 20+ year old incandescent boat trailer lights primarily to eliminate the hassle of replacing bulbs and light modules every year or two. I was extremely pleased to find that in addition to the promise of longer life, they are extremely bright and I feel much safer now when pulling my boat trailer day or night. This one is plastic but it seemed sturdy enough when mounting on back of my trailer.

Comments
After one year going in and out of the water at boat ramps and the trailer being exposed to the elements when not being towed, these lights are still bright and like brand new.

Just received and installed this light today. Replaced 7 year old lights on my utility trailer hoping to not have to mess with light bulbs anymore. The light works as it should, it's nice and bright, arrived in a reasonable time frame, was packaged well, and hopefully will last. I have ordered many items from etrailer and have never had a problem.

Works great and as designed. Lights are bright and easily visible. Easy to install. I put a second one on so now I have one for each side to act as an additional turn signal and both as additional brake lights.

clips for holding the lens cover are not the best set up the lenses fell out during shipping, it will work but that's as far as I would go, I would not recommend it as high quality but are useable.

Plastic feels flimsy/cheap because it’s thin. Let’s hope you the sun doesn’t make it brittle, especially for the cost. SUPER bright and crisp. Figures now there’s free shipping.

  • Checking/Fixing Ground Connection on Trailer LED Light Bar
From what you describe, it sounds exactly like a ground problem. You'll want to make sure the ring terminal on the ground wire is making contact with bare metal on the trailer frame. If there's paint or corrosion preventing the ring terminal from making good metal-metal contact, you'll only pick up the ground connections through the threads of the ground screw, which sometimes isn't sufficient. To refresh a ground connection, I like to remove the ground screw, sand down the area around...
