Thanks for the information Brian! To add a front hitch to your 2026 Ram 2500 with a diesel engine, you'll need the EcoHitch Hidden Front Hitch item # EH37FR. For camper tie downs front and rear, I recommend the TorkLift Tie Downs item # TL73NR.
The EcoHitch Front Hitch item # EH37FR is custom fit for the 2026 Ram 2500 and is compatible with both the gas and diesel engine models. It has a 10,000 lbs line pull capacity for a winch, a 1,000 lbs vertical load for a bike rack or cargo carrier, and a 3,500 lbs towing capacity if you're maneuvering around a trailer. Depending on what state you're in and how the laws there relate to license plates, you may also need the Curt Front Hitch License Plate Holder item # C31002.
The TorkLift Tie Downs item # TL73NR are a set of custom fit front and rear tiedowns that will bolt directly to your Ram's frame with the included hardware. They are compatible with the factory hitch. Since your Amp power steps only sit below the cab there will be no compatibility issues. To secure your camper to the Tie Downs item # TL73NR, you'll want the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles item # TLS9529-2-LK.
