Surface-Mount Light
Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

First time customer and very unsatisfied. Ordered two led lights. Took forever to receive. Delivery date was 8-8. Did not receive till 8-17. When I did receive they were two different lights. Called and talked with employee. She found correct light and I ordered. Paid for light and 3 day delivery. Light came in wrong. Correct design but not led. Emailed employee and she found correct light. Ordered light again and paid 2 day delivery. This has really been a bad experience with your company. I have been trying to get two light’s since 8-4. It has cost me a small fortune to purchase two led lights. Really don’t know if I will ever order from you again. You were recommended by a friend that loves you. I am very disappointed.

Yeah, funny story, one day I looked back there and the lens was gone! Don't know how or when. Got the part number off the remaining lens, googled it and found one on etrailer's website (I like you guys, btw). The lens works great,
no problems except the original light base (which is glued to the exterior body work with silicone) is slightly deformed from one of the screws being put
in too far. This created a deflection of the plastic base, which then interfered with the lens clicking into place securely. Was able to get one side clicked in, but not the the other, which is why the original lens came off. Anyway, used gorilla tape all the way around it to secure it, and this
has worked well since.

etrailer is an awesome source for Travel Trailer supplies. The tail light was a direct replacement for one that I had accidentally stepped on while climbing down the rear ladder of my Travel Trailer. The installation is simple since the mounting screw holes lined up perfectly as did the opening for the wiring. After a year of use - I couldn't be happier.

This is a good product and a good replacement for a standard 1157 tail/brake/turn light. My camper has the LED lights with a circuit board, so I had to remove the standard light bulb and put the LED on. It does have screw holes and a bracket to house either type of light, and wiring is simple. Good replacement. I ordered several items at the same time and it took 2 weeks to get half the order and 3 weeks to get the other half.

Finding the correct item and ordering was easy. The only information I could not find is if a gasket was needed. The trailer is in storage so I could not look at it to know.
