When you need serious load capacity, this combo is built for it. The Kenda 5.30-12 bias tire carries up to 1,250 lbs at 105 psi with an 8-ply rating and a 65 mph (K) speed rating. Paired with a 12" x 4" steel wheel rated for the same weight, both meet DOT specs so you can run highway speeds with confidence that it will hold up under heavy cargo or long-distance hauls.
This Dexstar steel wheel uses an e-coat base and durable white powder coat finish that resists rust and corrosion. It’s the kind of protection that stands up to moisture, grime, and years of use while keeping the wheel looking clean and solid.
The Kenda bias tire uses nylon cords set at a 30-45° angle in alternating layers, creating a tough sidewall that flexes evenly across the tread. That extra stiffness helps it stay stable and composed when towing over rough or uneven surfaces while still giving a smooth, predictable feel.
The 12" x 4" wheel features a standard 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, zero offset, and a 3.19" pilot diameter. Wheel bolts are 1/2"-20. The tire measures 5.30-12 with a section width of 5.5" and outer diameter of 21.9" when inflated—dimensions that make fitment straightforward on matching hubs.
This tire and wheel come already mounted, saving time on setup so you can bolt them on and get moving. The assembly includes a limited 1-year warranty on the wheel plus Kenda’s 1-year worry-free guarantee—if the tire is damaged within the first year, it will be replaced at no charge.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

As I was prepping my trailer for the season, I realized that I had bought the pair of these currently on my trailer from etrailer 6 years ago! They have served flawlessly since then, much better than the lower load range tires available locally, but it's time to replace them. Of course I just reordered two more of the same. Great products, great price, great service, great instructional videos - why would I buy anything else from anyone else?
I was happy to find this extremely hard to find product here at etrailer. The tires arrived on time and in great shape, and for a reasonable price. NOTE: the tires do not arrive pre-balanced. I did not understand this and it caused an issue because I had a road trip planned for my trailer and ended up doing an emergency tire balancing at the local tire center. It would be helpful for the product description to highlight this fact. For that I'm giving a 4-star rating instead of 5.
Great tires and wheels. These are and upgrade for a Carry All trailer that came with 4.8 x 12 tires. Wider than the original tires on the trailer and they have a higher load rating at a very good price. I flipped the axle and these add a little more clearance. I bought 2 so I will change both out incase of a flat and when the original tires wear out.
Fit just like the old ones in every way. These have the good metal valve steams that seem to last longer for me then the rubber cased ones. Etrailer has the best price I could find, and load range D that I could not find local. These also came in a box (well 2 boxes, 2 units per box) which I was somewhat surprised on, I have ordered wheels and tires before from other vendors and they were just tied together with cardboard on the wheel, it was nice to see these actually in a box. Will come back to etrailer when I need to replace these again, its somewhat of an odd ball size as well so I was glad to find them somewhere in stock.
We bought a pair of these tires/wheels a year ago and put them on our Teardrop camper trailer. We later traveled Route 66 from Missouri to the California border, through Death Valley with temps near 120 degrees and from there North through the remainder of California, Oregon and Washington. We then headed East through Montana, the Dakotas and a corner of Minnesota before returning to Iowa. The tires performed flawlessly, All in all we put a little over 8,000 miles on them.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Bought these tires for my double axle pontoon trailer. They have been great! As well, the service, and customer support , from etrailer has been wonderful. I will do business with etrailer in the future.

The tires and wheels have done well.
I needed a new tire for my 2002 coleman taos pop up trailer, and was looking for a load range D tire. This tire was a perfect fit.
Website easy to navigate. Product specifications make comparisons simple.
Delivered exactly what was ordered. D-rated 8ply utility trailer tires mounted on white spoke rims. Theses come with reinforced stems with locknuts.
8 ply for same price others advertise for 4 & 6 ply.

Bought these wheels and tires last year for my utility trailer. Have put several thousand miles on them at 75 to 80 miles an hour on hot highway. No issues and still look like new. Good product!!

Bought two of the 12" Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire & White Wheel for my Pontoon Boat Trailer. Came on time and was perfect. I've put a lot of miles on it taking my pontoon to different finger lakes in NW PA and they perform perfectly and I travel 70 mph. Definitely recommend this tire and wheel and company as it came exactly as they said it would. Will not hesitate to buy from them again.
My tires were delivered as promised. Got them on my camper, aired the. Up and took it for a test drive of 50 miles. Everything was great, glad I got the load range D tires, very little bounce or sway. I recommend these tires.
