Question:

Im looking for a spare tire for my HAUL-MASTER 1720 Lb. Capacity 48 In. X 96 In. Super Duty Folding Trailer. I was hoping you could tell me if this tire # AM30740 will work my trailer.

From what I could find out about the wheels on the Haul-Master trailers, they do utilize a 5.30-12 tire and wheel combo. The Kenda 5.30-12 with 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern # AM30740 will definitely fit. That being said, it does have a B weight rating, which means it is rated to 840 pounds. The tires that come with the Haul-Master tires look to have a C rating, which will be 1,045 pounds. A few better options will be the Kenda # AM30850 with a C rating (1,045 pounds), or the Kenda # AM30859 with a D rating (1,250 pounds). I should mention the # AM30850 is only available with a galvanized wheel, so it wouldn't match. Between the 3 of the options, I would go with the # AM30859. It never hurts to have a little extra capacity and it will also match the current wheels.
