This custom underbed installation kit mounts below the bed so you keep a clean, usable surface when you’re not towing. The system only needs a single 4" diameter hole in the bed for the hitch ball, so you can haul gear or load materials without bulky rails in the way. When the gooseneck ball isn’t in use, it flips over and stores in place, leaving your bed level and open.
This setup doubles as both a heavy-duty Turnoverball gooseneck hitch and a base for the B&W Companion fifth wheel hitch. With a 30,000-lb gross towing weight and 7,500-lb vertical load limit, it’s strong enough for serious towing. The 2-5/16" ball locks securely in place for gooseneck use, and when you’re ready to tow your fifth wheel, the Companion drops right into the same mounting point. One hitch does the work of two without extra hardware.
The kit’s custom mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in the truck frame, so there’s no welding or frame drilling required. You only drill small holes for the safety chain loops and the 4" opening for the ball. The heavy-duty steel components are powder coated for corrosion resistance and long service life. Once in place, the operating handle—accessible from the driver’s-side wheel well—makes it easy to lock or release the hitch ball or Companion post.
