The correct spare wheel/tire combo for the Malone EcoLight Trailer part # MAL53FR is the Spare Tire for Malone EcoLight Trailer - Locking Attachment Item # MAL33FR which is actually the exact same wheel/tire that would have came with the trailer and it comes with a mounting bracket as well.

  • Availability Of A Spare Tire Carrier For A Vintage Trailer Wheel AM20312
For a 14-inch vintage style 4-lug trailer wheel like # AM20312 that has a wide 9.44-inch hole spacing you'll need to get creative to make a spare tire carrier since we have no off-the-shelf solution. What we have recommended in the past is using a u bolt style carrier like # CE22011Z-11050-2 (12-1/4-inches) or # CE22007Z-11050-2 (8-3/4-inches long) along with a steel plate or disk (this would have to be fabricated) large enough to full most of the inside space on the wheel's mounting surface....

We do not offer trailer-mount spare tire carriers with a narrower u-bolt than the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier for Trailers, part # CE22007Z-11050-2, which has a u-bolt that is 3-1/16-inch wide. However, this part will still work on your 1-1/2-inch trailer frame. Since the tire and carrier both will be tightened down to your trailer frame with the two supplied lug nuts the trailer frame being smaller than the u-bolt will not matter. You will just want to position the u-bolt so that the...

  • Spare Tire Carrier for a Little Guy Silver Shadow Trailer with Limited Mounting Space

Two adjacent bolt holes on a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern would be 2-5/8 apart, center to center while 2-11/32 would be just a bit further apart. Do you have the hub handy? Go ahead and check your measurement using the wheel studs on the hubs which might be easier to measure center to center.
