When you're loading up for a long trip—whether it’s kayaks, camping gear, or a rooftop box—you want crossbars that won’t flex or wobble. These Yakima RoundBars are made from galvanized steel that delivers sturdy support under load. Each 58" long bar provides a dependable foundation for hauling, and the steel build gives you confidence mile after mile.
Roof racks take a beating from rain, sun, and road grime. The black vinyl coating on these RoundBars helps resist corrosion so the bars stay looking good and functioning smoothly over time. You get the strength of steel without worrying about rust or the elements wearing them down.
If you already have carriers and mounts that clamp around round bars, this system fits right in. The round design works with common accessories like kayak cradles, ski racks, and cargo boxes that use simple clamp-on attachments. It keeps your setup flexible so you can switch between gear without extra parts or adapters.
When your rack stays on between trips, it’s nice to know you can keep it secure. The BaseLine towers work with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) to help deter theft of the rack. It’s an easy upgrade that adds peace of mind when you’re parked overnight or away from your vehicle.
This roof rack kit includes 2 RoundBars, 4 BaseLine towers, 4 adapters, and a custom fit kit—everything you need to install on a naked roof. With a 165-lb weight capacity (always observe your vehicle’s maximum roof load), it’s ready for everyday hauling or weekend adventures without needing extra components right out of the box.

Replacement product has served me well. I still have these roundbars in storage but plan on selling them soon. Use the measure twice cut once mantra when you get the bars tightened down after evening them out after measuring because the towers will dig into the black coating. Be careful with the end caps as well. They are a little tough to push in but apply some sort of lubricant to help it go in otherwise you risk cracking the end caps.
