I have a 2023 GMC Acadia SLT, and am interested in purchasing the Thule Hullavator kayak carrier with lift assist. It looks like I would need to install crossbars on the vehicle for this carrier to work. Any recommendations on what would work best? Thank you.

It looks like your Acadia comes with either a naked roof or raised rails so here are the parts I recommend using for either roof style:

Naked Roof:
- 50" JetStream Crossbars # Y00425
- BaseLine Towers # Y28TR
- Fit Kits # Y06138 AND # Y06132
- Lock Core Kit # Y07204 (optional)

Raised Rails"
- 50" JetStream Crossbars # Y00425
- TimberLine Towers # Y33TR
- Lock Core Kit # Y07204 (optional)

You do need the crossbars to stick out past the legs by at least 4" so you might need to offset the crossbars so you have enough clearance for the Hullavator to lower without making contact with your GMC.
