Question:

I have a hullavator off previous car and want to attach to Yakima skyline that fits new car better. The hullavator has a square bar that the cradle slides across, so it doesnt fit Yakima bars that are the black aroe dynamic ones. Is there an adapter to fit these bars or will a round Yakima bar work without an adapter?

The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 can fit round bars by grabbing around the crossbar and can fit aero shaped bars if the bars have a channel on top of them. Which the Yakima aero shaped bars don't have top channels so to go the Yakima route will require round bars which includes the part numbers # Y00408, # Y53TR, # Y03536, and # Y00241 and you'd be set.

Will the hullavator fit the yakima lock and load roof rack?

The Thule Hullavator # TH898 wouldn't be compatible with the Yakima LockNLoad Platform (or similar platform carriers) because it doesn't provide the type of clearance the Hullavator needs to avoid hitting the side of your vehicle when being raised/lowered. It needs to attach to roof crossbars that extend past the side of the roof by at least 4" on each side.
