So I think it's really cool that Ford started doing this in some of their trucks, putting this prep package in. It makes it super easy not only to use a goose ball system like this Curt one here, but a fifth wheel as well, since you really don't need to install anything, don't hardly take any time. and more or less the parts just kind of drop right into place. This particular kit is going to be good for 38,000 pounds, which I believe is the most heavy duty kit available for this truck.

B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the B&W under bed goose neck kit on a 2022 Ford F-350. Now this kit installs underneath your bed allowing you to hook up to your goose neck, and the ball is gonna be nice and easy to remove and whenever you need to actually use this, you're just gonna drop it in place, and then the handle on the side is gonna allow you to lock that in. But the great part is, is normally with some other goosenecks, you're having to find a spot to keep the ball and normally it's gonna be having grease all over it and that's kind of normal to keep that nice and clean, but the problem is you gotta store it somewhere. So in order to get all of your bed access, you can see this is nice and flush, even with our safety chains here, it's as simple as dropping this in upside down. Either way, you can see there's holes on both sides and that way this is gonna be nice and flush, it's gonna lock in place and your ball's gonna be ready to use it whenever you need it. So whenever you are ready to hook up, super easy, there's a little handle here to pull this up, you'll simply just flip it over, drop this in place, lock it in, and you're ready to go.

As far as the installation process on this, it's a really straightforward install. The parts come in sections rather than these being solid rails. They're much easier to get in than previous models. You've got custom side plates, they're going to come to the custom crossmember brackets into the crossmember, and then finally into the center section here. Everything's pretty accessible and torquing it down is actually easier on this type of fifth wheel than what we've had in years past, so it makes it really nice, a little bit easier to do at home. The release handle is going to be here in the driver side wheel well. That's something you're just going to pull straight out and then forward.

Today on our 2016 Ford F350 Super cab, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the BNW turnover ball under bed gooseneck trailer hitch with the custom installation kit. Part number is BWGNRK1111. Here's what our gooseneck is going to look like installed and when not in use. As you can see this is going to leave us full access to our truck bed, which is really nice. That's why we got our trucks, we can haul stuff around and things like that. When we're ready, we simply pull out on the latch that we've got on the side, turn it into the lock position, then it's just a matter of pulling out our square shank ball. This is two and five sixteenths of an inch in diameter.

Heres what our kit is going to look like once its installed. This is a 2-5/16th ball and its capable of up to 30,000 pounds of towed capacity. The nice chrome-plated ball firmly locks into the attachment point using the two D10 balls. When its locked down, the balls are pushed out and fit nicely into the manufacturers pre-installed gooseneck hitch. Its a quick and easy install with the gooseneck ball and safety chain hold downs. Our safety chain hold downs are a steel construction which a nice black powder coat.
