Are 2016-2019 puck systems different than 2020 ? Ive seen some advertising fits 2016 to 2020,most 2016 to 2019

Yes, the puck system used on the 2016-2019 Chevy/GMC trucks is different than the pucks used on the 2020 and newer trucks. So you would need a 5th wheel like the B&W Companion # BWRVK3710 for your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 with an 8' Bed. If you are looking at a Gooseneck Ball # BWGNXA2061 this will fit both the 2016-2019, and newer trucks since the size of the mounts didn't change. It was only their position and spread that changed due to frame changes.

@JohnT Yes, the factory puck system on your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado is going to be different from the Ford. While the Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNXA2061 will fit both the Chevrolet and Ford system because they use the same diameter holes the outer holes for the 5TH Wheel # BWRVK3710 are going to be spaced differently.

@BudM are you sure? Because Curt sells an adapter system that it claims works for Chevy (newer than 2020) and Ford.

Hey BUD is the BWRVK3710 only for 2020 and higher for Silverado and GMC with a 8ft bed or will it work for a stander bed as well the 82” bed

@EdgarG The B&W Companion # BWRVK3710 will work with a standard bed as long as your 5th wheel trailer has a tapered nose. If the front of the 5th wheel is a square body then it won't give you enough clearance and you'll need the Sliding Companion # BWRVK3775.
