Thule Wingbar Evo Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Ford F-150

Today, we have a 2019 Ford F-150, and we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Wingbar Evo roof rack system.Now, we have the black color on top of our F-150 right now, but it are also available in silver. You can find that here at etrailer.com.This is designed to mount to your naked roof of the F-150, and it's just a nice accessory for your truck. It's going to allow you to get your favorite accessories on your roof, whether you've got a kayak carrier, a cargo box, or even a bike rack.Now, our roof rack's going to be comprised of a couple different parts. Up top, we're going to have our 60 inch long Evo Wingbars, and these Wingbars do have a nice aerodynamic shape to them.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford F-150

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford F-150 we'll be taking a look at and showing how to install the Thule roof rack system. This is going to consist of the Thule AeroBlade crossbars, part number THARB60, the Thule Rapid Traverse foot pack, part number TH480R, and the Thule fit kit, part number THKIT1787. Now keep in mind that our crossbars are also available in black with part number THARB60B.The Thule roof rack system is going to allow us to still use our truck bed to carry our gear while also allowing you to carry more gear on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or kayak carriers. The aerodynamic shape of our bars is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag, and that weather strip on the top can easily be removed and cut down to work with channel-mounted accessories.On our foot pack we do have the option to knock out this plastic core and place in a metal lock core, which will help to reduce theft and tampering of our roof rack system altogether. If we open up our cover, you'll see our tool that is included with our kit. This can actually be placed into and stored inside our bolt for safe keeping.



Yakima BedRock Truck Bed Cargo Rack Installation - 2018 Ford F-150

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Ford F150, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima BedRock Truck Bed Cargo Rack, part number: Y01140-78.The Yakima system is going to be a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories in your truck bed as well as on top of your truck bed. It's going to empty up more space so you can carry things like bike racks, kayak carriers and skis and snowboards.The adjustable towers make it easy to change up our crossbar spread for any accessory we are using. Our clamps are also going to be key-to-like with a lock on there to prevent any theft or tampering. We can easily just lift up on our clamp, adjust it and set it back into place.The towers are going to have rubber bottoms to prevent any scratches or abrasions on our truck. The weight capacity for our truck bed system is going to weigh 165 pounds, though you do want to double check your truck's weight capacity to make sure you don't exceed that. The bars are also going to measure 78 inches long, which will give us plenty of room to secure down all of our gear.

Now, keep in mind that our crossbars are also available in silver with part number RRVA150S-2The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System gives us an opportunity to carry more gear inside our truck bed as well as on our roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or kayak carriers. The aerodynamic shape of our crossbars is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag. On our crossbar end cap you'll see we have this plastic lock core here. This does lock, but you can replace those with metal lock cores, which will add more safety and security.

Today on our 2017 Ford F150 we're going to test fitting the Yakima Jet Stream Crossbar Roof Rack System. This is going to be consisting of part numbers Y00426, these are the Jet Stream Crossbars, 60" long. These are also available in silver, part number Y00429. We'll also be using part number Y00146, these are the baseline towers for the Yakima Crossbars, and part number Y06122. You're going to have two kits of these, and this is the base clip fit kit for the F150. The Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of objects up on the top of your roof while freeing up space both inside your vehicle and in the bed of the truck. Today on our 2017 Ford F150 we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00422, these are the Yakima Core Bar Cross Bars, 60" long. Part number Y00146, these are the Base Line Towers for the Yakima Cross Bars, and part number Y006122. This is the Base Clip Fit Kit for you Ford F150. The Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, while freeing up space inside your truck and your truck bed. It can also be used in conjunction with your ladder rack, to act as an extension for your longer ladder racks, or lumber, or whatever it is you're hauling. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. It also has these end caps that do come with knock outs that you can replace with Yakima Same Key Systems, so once you install this on your roof it will stay on your roof.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford F-150

Today in this 2016 Ford F-150, we are going to be test fitting the Thule Aero Blade Roof Rack System. Consisting of part numbers THARB60 for the Thule Aero Blade Load Bars, part number TH480r which are the foot packs and parts number thkit1787 which are the clamps. Now as you can see we already have the front one installed. lEt's go ahead and show you how the rear one installs. We have it semi-assembled on our table here with just one side done. When you get this you'll have the foot pack here the foot pad and the clamp. We'll go ahead and show how the foot pack goes on. First up you want to make sure this latch is down.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford F-150

Today on this 2016 Ford F150 we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. Consisting of part numbers RRVA150B-2, which are going to be the crossbars, and then the legs, part number RRRLKBA, and then the fit kit, part number DK427. As you can see we have the front one already installed, let's go ahead and show you have the rear one goes on. Once you get the kit, here's what you're pretty much going to get with it, with the exception of the roll tape here. You're going to get the two measuring strips, the legs, the foot pads, the hooks, and the covers that will actually lock up the legs once you have them installed. We have the left one installed, let's go head and move on to the other. I'll flip this around for you. Go head and take our leg here, line it up with the track, slide it in.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford F-150

Today on our 2015 Ford F-150, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Traverse Aero Bar Roof Racking System. The Thule Aeroblades, part number is T-H-A-R-B-6-0. The Thule Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, T-H-4-8-0-R, and the Thule Fit Kit is T-H-K-I-T-1-7-8-7. Now we already have the first one already on. I'd like to show you how we install the second one now. All right, we have a table here with our crossbar, we have our foot pad and this is our Fit Kit, the pad and the clip, plus we have a tool that comes with it. Our tape measurement does not include it but we have one to take a couple of measurements. We're going to install our Foot Kit.



Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Review - 2006 Ford F-150

Today on our 2006 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Roof Rack System using part numbers RRVA150B-2, RRRLKVA, and DK150. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of our roof. We'll then need to measure two hundred and eighty millimeters from the center of the door jamb to the center of our foot pack. We'll need to make this measurement on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure the front crossbar is perpendicular to the roof and the pads contour to the roof line correctly. With the bar in position we then need to pull back some of the weather stripping to insert the clip in between the weather stripping and the seam of our door. Once this is done we'll use the included tightening tool to tighten down the black bolt, tightening down each side a little bit at a time, just to make sure the bar stays centered. Once everything is all tightened down and secure we can place our rear bar onto the rear of our roof and measure the crossbar spread.



Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150, well be test fitting the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System, using part numbers THLB58, TH480, and THKIT1521. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions, well grab our front bar and place it onto the front part of our roof. To ensure we have this bar in the correct spot, we need to measure 10 1/8 of an inch from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest point on our foot pack. Well do this measurement for both sides to ensure that our feet are in line with each other.Once we have it set, we can use the included tool to tighten down our clamp to secure it against our roof line. Well make our way back and forth, tightening a little at a time so we dont lose our position. Once we have it secured, we can then slide the tool under the foot pack and close the lid.Well open our rear doors and place the rear bar under the rear part of our roof.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we will be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack system using part numbers THARB60, TH480R and THKIT1521. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions we will place our front bar onto the front part of our roof. To ensure we have this bar in the correct spot we need to measure 10 and 1/8th inches from the leading edge of the windshield to the closet point of our foot pack. We will do this measurement for both sides of the vehicle to ensure that our feet are in-line with each other. Once we have it in place we can use the included tool to tighten down allen bolt which will tighten our clamp along the roof line of our truck. We will make our way back and forth, tightening a little at a time, making sure we don't lose our position.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford F-150

Today on our 2013 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System Part Numbers THARB60, TH4A0R and THKIT1521 with load bars feet and and fit kit assembled according to the instructions we'll begin our test fit by placing a front load bar on to the roof. We'll then need to measure from the front part of the glass to the first part of the foot. We'll measure 10 and 1/8 inch on to the passenger and drivers side of the vehicle to ensure the front load bar is perpendicular to the roof of our F150. Once we've established this position, we can use the included tensioning tool to tighten on the clamps to the roof line of our vehicle. You want to tighten down each side a little bit at a time so one foot back doesn't favor one side of the vehicle.



Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Ford F-150

Today were going to do a test fit of the Thule square loadbar roof-rack kit with traverse speed on our 2011 Ford F150. Weve got already a little bar in feet assemble so lets go ahead and put them on the vehicle. Lets start by opening up both front door and placing the loadbar on the vehicle. Place the loadbar properly we need a measure of 10 and 1/8 inches from where the edge of the windshield and meets the edge of the sheet-metal on top of the roof-rack. All right now, weve got a front loadbar measure out in place and we start turning it down. Well take up some of the slacks on the clamps and then well tighten it down with the included torque tool specifications.

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our Big Mouth directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform we'll bring our clamps around the front bar. We'll then take out T-bolt and fit it through the slot on the clamp. We can secure it by tightening down our wingnut. We can then repeat this process for the other side of the front platform. Here at the rear we'll bring our bolts around the rear bar, place our clamp through the bolts, and secure it by tightening down the wingnuts.



Swagman Upright Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150, we'll be test fitting the Swagman Rooftop Bike Rack, Part Number S64720. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Swagman Bike Rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform, we'll bring our U-bolt around the underside of the load bar, feeding it back up through the holes in the platform, and securing it by tightening down two wing nuts. Once we have that tight, we can repeat that process for the other side of the front platform. Here at the rear, we'll drop our U-bolt through the top of the bike rack, down through the holes, making sure it goes around the rear load bar. We'll then install the black metal bracket and secure it by tightening down the wing nuts. With the front and rear secure, we'll go ahead and make sure that our frame jaws are open and that our front and rear wheel straps are undone. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be testing fitting the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64710. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Swagman Bike Rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform, we'll bring our U bolts around the underside of our load bar feeding them up through the platform and securing it by tightening down the wing nuts. We'll do this for both sides of the front platform. Withthe front secure, we'll move to the rear and drop our U bolt through the top of thebike rack through the holes. We want to make sure that the U bolt goes around the load bar and then we can place our clampthrough the bolts and then we can feed our bolts through the bracket securing it by tightening down the wing nuts. We'llgo ahead and undo the rear wheel strap and make sure the skewer at the front is loose. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack.



RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Rockymounts Tierod roof-mounted bike rock, part number RKY1014. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof-rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the tierod directly onto our load bars. We'll rid plastic cover and fit the straps into the head of the carrier. We can then use an Allen key to tighten the Allen bolt which will tighten our straps around our front bar. With that tight we can replace the black plastic cover and make sure our skewer is open for when we're ready to load our bike. Here at the rear we'll bring our rear clamp around our rear bar, drop the bolt back through and secure it by tightening down on the Allen bolts. With the front and rear secure we'll go ahead and undo the rear wheel strap. We'll grab our bike and place it onto our bike rack dropping our front forks down onto our skewer. We'll secure the bike first by tightening our skewer and then move to the rear and tighten with the wheel strap. With our bike all loaded up we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit for the Rockymounts Tierod roof-mounted bike rock, part number RKY1014 on our 2010 Ford F150. .

Rhino Rack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Ford F-150

Today on this 2016, Ford F150, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Universal Mount Cargo Basket, part number RR42115BF. This measures 58 inches long by 47 inches wide. We have three of the feet already attached to the vehicle and we'll go ahead and show you how the last one goes on. Go ahead and start by taking our top part, that'll go on top of the crossbar, this plastic piece. Set that in place. We'll take our metal bracket.



Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 Ford F-150

Today, on this 2016 Ford F150, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Canyon Roof Cargo Basket, part number TH859. This is 49 inches long by 40 inches wide by 6 inches tall, and has 150 pound carrying capacity. Although, you want to double check with your owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand such weights. As you can see, we have 3 of the clamps already installed on our roof rack system. We'll go ahead and show you how the last one installs. First, we're going to take our U-clamp here, with our 2 knobs. Go ahead an put it, and fit it in to these 2 channels here.



Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ford F-150

Today on our 2015 Ford F 150 we're doing a test fit of the Tuley Canyon 00:00:05 roof cargo basket. That part number is TH859. We have it on our vehicle already, I have three of four hold downs already on, I'm going to put the last one on. Let to let you know a little bit about the basket, it's made out of a study steel. The measurements on it are 49 by 40 by 6 and can hold up to 150 pounds. I'm going to get up here like so.



Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today, on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around each load bar. Once we have it set the way we like, we can then open the passenger's side of the box and use the 2 hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. The great feature of the Thule Sonic is its ability to let you know when the feet are secured around the bar. When tightening, you'll hear a clicking noise when the feet are secured around the bar. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle.



Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150, well be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 13 cubic feet in glossy black: part number TH634B. With the Thule rapid traverse Roof-rack system on our vehicle, well begin out test fit by placing the Thule Sonic directly onto our load bars. With the feed hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. Once we have the box situated the way we like, we can open, here on the passenger side of the box, and use the two hand-knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. When the hand-knobs are tight enough, theyll make a clicky noise letting you know that the feet are secure around our bar. Another great ability is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. Well move to the driver side, open the box, and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand-knobs until you hear the clicky noise. With all 4 feet tight, our box is secured, and were ready to go. That completes today's test fit for the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 13 cubic feet in glossy black, part number TH634B, on our 2010 Ford F150.



Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 16 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH615. Keep in mind that this box opens from one side only so we'll want to place it toward the passenger side for easier accessibility. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Pulse directly onto our load bars. Once we have the box situated we can then open the box and place our feet through the appropriate slots, making sure that the feet go around each load bar. Then we can use the attached hand knobs to secure each one around our bars. With all four feet tight our box is secured and we're ready to go. That completes today's test fit of the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box part number TH615 on our 2010 Ford F150.

Today, on our 2010 Ford F150, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 11 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH613. Keep in mind that this box opens from 1 side only, so we'll be setting it towards the passenger's side for easier accessibility. Today on our 2010 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 21 cubic feet in AeroSkin black part number TH626. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack City System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Force directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. Once we have the box situated the way we like, we can open the passenger side of the box and tighten down the twofeet on this side by using the hand knobs. Another great feature of the Thule Force is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining feet using the hand knobs. With all four feet tight, our box is secured and we're ready to go. Today on our 2013 F-150 we will be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number th636s with a Thule aeroblade rooftop rack system assembled onto our vehicle we will begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly on top of our load bars. Then we can go ahead and open our cargo box and fit our clamps around each load bar. We will tighten the hand knobs which will tighten the feet of the clamps and secure our cargo box to our vehicle. With all of the clamps tight we are ready to start loading up our gear. As you can see we can open the cargo box from either side of the vehicle. This is a huge convinience when loading and unloading.

Once we have it situated the way we prefer, we can then open the box and feed the clamps through the appropriate slots. Now our vehicle is already equipped with the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System, so we'll begin our test by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles load bars. We'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four knobs. We'll loosen up the knobs and position the claws over the load bars. Depending on where you position the box on your roof, you can go to the other side of the vehicle and open up the lid to expose the knobs closest to you. This double-sided opening lid allows for easier installation and makes it easier to load or unload your gear from either side of the vehicle.

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Ford F-150

Today on our 2013 Ford F-150, we're doing a test fit of the Darby extended track hitch mounted load extender. That part number is DTA944. Now we already have this loaded up onto our vehicle. In our first position we're going to take a few measurements and go over some features of the extended truck itself. Here in the first position we've got it set to our highest point. This is going to line up with our vehicles roof or roof rack if we have one on. What's great about this is not only does it work lined up with your vehicles roof, but maybe if you have items that you want to put at an angle you can lay those in your truck bed and then line them up.

Today on our 2011 Ford F150, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Gate Mate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack. That part number is TH824. Now we already have it laid on top of our tailgate here. We are first going to show you how to secure that down and then we'll go over some things that you can actually put on our tailgate pad and then also how we secure that down as well. The first thing we'll do, since my arms aren't long enough to reach all the way down to the bed even if I lift up, we're going to open up our tailgate here. Now I will hold the tailgate pad with my hip and reach down, grab my strap, and straighten that out. Then I'll just feed it through underneath my tailgate and in between the tailgate and the truck bed here.

Now, we're going to show you how we secure it to the tailgate and then we'll also going to show you things that we can use it for to load up. First thing we'll do is just set our tailgate pad up here. We want to make sure these big pads on the side are sticking up because that's going to hold to your cargo in their spots. Now, we're going to lift up on this pad here and open our tailgate.



Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2010 Ford F-150

Today on our 2010 Ford F-150, we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier with a two-board capacity, Part Number TH810. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing half of the carrier onto the front part of our roof rack. We'll bring the rubber-coated steel strap around the front bar, putting it back into the foot of the carrier, and using the small knob on the reverse side to tighten it down. Well move to the other side and repeat this process. We'll grab the second half of the carrier and place it onto the rear bar. We want to make sure that both halves of our carrier are in line with each other for better hauling of our gear. Once we have it in place, we can bring the rubber-coated strap around the bar, fit it into the foot, and tighten the hand knob.
