Longest Crossbar Roof Rack Recommendation for 2026 Toyota RAV4 with Flush Rails

Question:

Im looking for an appropriate quality roof rack system for a RAV4 2026, Flush rail vehicle.The rail would need to be an eliptical/aero not square overhang rail of at least 60 inches,and the mounts would need to include a locking mechanism. Can you help me with this? I havent been able to find it using your search tools. Thanks.

Hey Trace, would a 55 inch crossbar length work? If so, the Yakima HD bar part # Y22BB would be what you will want. A longer bar isn't guaranteed to fit since the mounting channel on the bottom of the bar does not extend the entire length of the crossbar. What are you planning on carrying that you need the extra bar length for?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I need the full 60 inch length in order to carry two solos canoes side by side. Is there another bar with a mounting channel that would work?

@TraceG at this time best option would be the 66 inch round bar roof rack from Yakima that consists of part numbers # Y00410, # Y64AR, # Y27AR, # Y03536.

@JamesonC Hi. Thanks for your reply. One more question. I’m not going to be racking two canoes all the time so is there a smaller crossbar that I can switch out the 66” round bars with. My preference would be the more aerodynamic elliptical shaped bars. Is that possible, can I comfortably remove the adapter and put on another type bar for every day use. If so what are your recommendations that would work with that tower. Thanks

@TraceG You would just need the part # Y00425 for a 50 inch aero crossbar that would mount on the Yakima feet and fit kit that I mentioned already.
