Question:
Hi! You guys have been super helpful in the past so I thought Id get your opinion about this. Im driving a 2009 Fleetwood Pulse class C Sprinter motorhome with a standard 2inch receiver rated at 350 lbs and 5000 lbs dingy. So I have a total of three bikes. My older bike is a conventional Giant Trance X Pro 29" mountain bike composite frame. I have a Specialized Turbo Como 4.0 commuter And my new bike is a Giant Trance X Advanced E+ 0 × 1 29" e-mountain bike. I'd only plan on transporting on while at a time along with the regular Giant MTB. Going forward I'm looking for a way to safely carry the 2 Giant bikes, the older MTB and the new (heavy) e-MTB. That's what's driving all this since I don't think last year's solution on the back of the Fiat is sufficient for the new eMTB.

Hey Jonathon thank you so much for all of that additional information! To haul your bikes behind your class C Sprinter motorhome, while flat towing your Mini, I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR and the Roadmaster Dual Receiver Hitch Adapter item # RM48BQ.
You have quite a interesting group of bikes! The RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR is going to be the best solution for all of them. It has a padded rotating clamps that will secure your mountain bikes and Specialized Turbo Como 4.0 by the seat or handle bar posts. This method of attachment will secure your bikes while also avoiding damaging your carbon frames and the fenders on your Como 4.0.
The RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR has an 80 lbs per bike capacity and works with tires up to 5" wide. The rack itself weighs only 63.5 lbs and can be used with a motorhome, flat towed vehicle, 5th wheel trailer, and any standard motor vehicle with a 2" hitch.
The Roadmaster Dual Receiver Hitch Adapter item # RM48BQ has a 10,000 lbs capacity and two 2" receivers. It will provide either a 6" drop or 6" rise to keep your tow bar level and allow you to attach the RV Rider Bike Rack item # HLY64FR to the top 2" receiver.
Which bike is your favorite and where do you typically ride it? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

I love all my bikes equally but the e-MTB is the newest an I'm just getting used to it. So far it's great - giving just enough support to maintain speed uphill and ride longer, accessing trails I might not be able to ride otherwise. I'm in Door County now but head out west for the winter. So you're comfortable that my existing nearly 20 year old hitch on the motorhome can support all that weight rated at 350 lbs?
