Roof Rack Recommendation for 2026 Honda Passport for Carrying Thule Hullavator

I have a 2026 Honda passport trial sport elite and I am lookign to get a setup that will work well with my hullivator kayak carriers. I actually have 2 sets of hullivators that I can potentially use but I am tryign to figure out what set of crossbars to get. Here is my data and the options I am lookign at - would like to get your inputs: - I contacted the dealer and they confirmed that the roof rails on my car are abel to support 210 lbs - I have two sents of hullivators 40 lbs per set or 80 total - 1 kayak is 53 lbs and the other is 64lbs total of 117 lbs - Assumong the rails and supports will be around 10 lbs SO grand total would be around 80+117+10= 207 lbs. Looking at 1 Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack for Raised Rails - CoreBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - Qty 2 Part Number: Y67YD 2 Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack for Raised Rails - HD Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 Part Number: Y23NB Looking for inputs and reccomendations- not sure how difficult it is to istall a hulivator to a CoreBar? I know you use the channel mount for the HD Bars but also that seems like a pretty weak connection with two small bolts holding the hullivator and the kayak to the roof. Again please tell me your thoughts on what is best to get.

Hey Jason, whenever available I would recommend going with the channel attachment for roof rack accessories including the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 as its simpler stronger, and it's basically the future of most roof rack accessories as it really doesn't have any drawbacks and is overall better. So between the two racks you mentioned the HD part # Y23NB from Yakima is the best way to go. It's a very strong and easy to use rack that has great weight capacities.
If you wanted something more in between the Corebar and the HD the Jetstream part # Y57SD has the same channel as the HD but is more aero shaped so it would be quieter. It's also 60 inches long too so you'd have room for the two Hullavators as well. This would be the rack I personally would go with. Where do you take your kayaks the most?

the jetstream part only supports 165 lbs so it would not work for my configuration. Also do you know if the HD bars will have issues operating using a hullivator. I have read that you might need to modify them because of the end cap?? I also question if that end cap is going to cause issues with being able to use two sets of hullivators on both sides of the car..
