Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Dodge Ram Pickup

Today in our 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 we'll be installing the B&W turnover ball under bed gooseneck trailer hitch with custom installation kit, part # BWGNRK1313. There's 2 and 5/16 inch hitch ball, we'll go to a 2 and 5/16 inch coupler on your gooseneck, connect there. Got your safety chain loops, hook up your electrical connection and you're ready to hit the road. When you're not towing your trailer you can store the ball in a convenient manner. Just pull the pin again, pull your ball out, flip it upside down and secure your ball by turning the pin counter-clockwise. As you can see your ball's not taking up any of your space in your bed of your truck and it's there for when you're ready to use it. This B&W hitch features a 7500 pound vertical load limit, and a 30,000 gross towing weight capacity. You'll want to consult with the owner's manual of your Dodge Ram 2500 and go by whichever number is less, either the towing capacity of the truck or the towing capacity of the hitch.

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Dodge Ram Pickup

Today on our 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation Kit part number 946435. Here's what this gooseneck is going to look like once it's installed on the truck. As you can see there's not a whole lot of visible up here in the bed except for the ball itself and then the safety chain loops here which are spring-loaded so when not in use they suck back down and being in the lower section of bed corrugation they stay pretty low and flush to make sure that they don't interfere with the use of your bed. Overall, this gooseneck is a really nice heavy-duty gooseneck hitch that has a 30,000lbs capacity and 7,500lbs vertical load limit so it's definitely going to be able haul just about whatever gooseneck trailer you're going to need to pull as long as your truck is rated for it. I like the way that this hitch is constructed because it's nice and it's really going to get the job done for anything you need to do. Also, the hole that needs to be drilled in the bed is a little bit smaller than those on some of the other goosenecks that are able to hide the ball. That's just going to help cut down on the area that needs to be cut out and help for a little bit cleaner look.

B&W Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2002 Dodge Ram Pickup

Today on our 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the BMW turnover ball under-bed gooseneck trailer hitch, with custom installation kit rated for 30,000 pounds. Part number BWGNRK1394. You can also use adapters for fifth wheels, part number BWRVK3500, or part number BWRVK3400. Some things that sets this set up apart from some of the other gooseneck hitches is that this one, with it being able to turn over here, it does help maintain a nice clean look, but you also don't have to keep the ball some place else. You can keep it right here so then when you need it, you can simply unlatch it, pull up using this little tab here and flip it over. Here's what this gooseneck hitch looks like from underneath the truck once it's installed. As you can see, it's nicely sitting on top of the frame rails and that's about as low as it's going to go except when the ball sticks out. It may come down just a little bit further.

Then, all you have to do is release your handle and lock it in place. With it locked in place, your ball isn't going to go anywhere. It's going to have the nice spring-loaded chain tie downs on either side that are going to allow you to put those safety chains right under. The center locator is a great feature of this hitch.
