If your drum brakes are worn or just not cutting it anymore, this Kodiak kit is a solid upgrade. The 10" hub-and-rotor assemblies deliver short stopping distances and smooth, controlled braking. Each Dacromet-coated hub resists rust and corrosion with a 300- to 400-hour salt spray rating and includes everything you need for one axle—bearings, races, seals, oil caps, synthetic bearing oil, wheel bolts, and lug nuts already matched to the assembly.
Saltwater, slush, and road chemicals can eat through unprotected metal fast. These Dacromet-plated cast iron components hold up against corrosion far better than standard finishes. Even with frequent use in harsh coastal or winter conditions, they can withstand 300-400 hours of continual salt spray before showing corrosion. That durability makes them ideal for anyone who needs dependable braking in wet or corrosive environments.

Water and debris can cause uneven rotor wear in slip-on setups. This one-piece hub-and-rotor assembly blocks moisture from reaching the mating surface, keeping braking even and reliable over time. The vented rotor design dissipates heat quickly to prevent fade and extend pad life. With fewer moving parts than drum brakes and ceramic pads that are easy to replace, these assemblies save time on maintenance season after season.

Every brake in this set uses a large stainless steel piston that provides fast, responsive braking action. Combined with ceramic pads, they deliver strong clamping force for confident stops without grabbing or pulling. The automotive-grade build keeps braking consistent at highway speeds or under heavy loads while giving you a smooth ride that feels controlled and balanced every time you tow.

I really like what I purchased. The system is really good and my trailer stops on a diamond gives 9 cents back, this is the way to go on any big trailer. Disks are amazing. No heat way better breaking, less maintenance. You know, the other thing? I did was upgraded My hubs to oil bath, which is another brilliant thing, again less maintenance. Better for the trailer, very impressed. The only negative thing I can say is that the seals for the oil bath are subpare and leaked after only 10 miles then 59 miles, so I had to go to a different manufacture and company and found a very robust seal that worked because the 2 times that yours failed that came from e trailer wasnt good. This is one problem. I think that they need to address and fix the other one. Is the caliper mounting bracket? When you put it on to the existing bolts on the spindle. The factory bolts are not long enough and I think that they should be changed. To a longer one so that you have according to engineering standards API three Threads showing when the nut is Torqued, you cant do it because the caliper mountain bracket is so thick and the bolts arent long enough. I Needed to change those bolts to longer bolt so that you can do this properly and have 3 threads showing past the nut When its torque down. Other than these 2 problems, everything seem to work very well and Im pleased.I have no other issues or concerns Prices were fair.Product came quick and Im real happy. So Far no other complaints for concerns.
