Flexible Rubber Brake Hose
This Kodiak brake hose is made of rubber, making it a practical choice for a variety of applications. Because you can easily bend it, a rubber hose is simpler to work with than a rigid stainless steel brake line. This flexibility makes a rubber hose great for use with foldaway trailer tongues because it is less likely to kink or break when bent. In addition, rubber hoses allow for a wide range of motion so articulating parts can effectively function. These qualities make rubber hoses better suited than steel lines for trailers with torsion axle suspension systems and trailers that have disc brakes.
Stainless steel brake lines have braided exteriors, which can not only wear against exterior surfaces, but also against the interior lining of the hose if dirt gets underneath the steel braid. And if the braid on a stainless steel line tears, it can cut into the hose lining. The exterior surface of this hose is solid rubber, so there are no crevices for debris to enter.
Durable Fittings with Deep Threads
Kodiak brake hoses have corrosion-resistant brass fittings with stainless steel flares. These fittings have a gap built into them that allows room for a line wrench - also called a flare nut wrench - to slide over the line and down to the nut. This type of wrench grips the nut better than a standard open-ended wrench so there is less chance of stripping the threads as you tighten down the nut.
The stainless steel that is used to create the flares on this hose is stronger than brass. As a result, these fittings are more durable than ones made entirely of brass. The stainless flares are primarily designed to keep the fittings from splitting when you tighten them down, but they offer absolute rust protection as well.
Kodiak's fittings have deeper threads than many other fittings on the market to provide a higher thread engagement. Deeper threads offer an advantage when used with fittings that have the same thread depth. These Kodiak fittings will work with most fittings on the market, but when they're used with other Kodiak fittings, the result is a stronger connection with fewer leaks.

It's fit my boat trailer application
Excellent service and parts. Came in just a couple of days and was a perfect replacement/ fit for the old hoses the rodents liked to eat. Will definitely do more business when more parts are needed.

One year later and the hoses look and work like brand new. Definitely an excellent purchase.
I think I need to get it installed pronto. As soon as my wife can find the time.
Ordered this as part of my boat trailer brake overhaul. replace all lines, I added a metal mesh sleeve to avoid rodents from gnawing on the exposed rubber since the trailer sits in a lot most of the time...
E-trailer has always been very helpful with me and making sure I get the right part in a timely manner. They are my #1 go to for my trailer parts.
Double ended rubber brake lines had to find..Used them on my Lowrider. Work Great!!
The hoses were fine.
We live in Montana. The Kodiak calipers on my new, tandem, EZ Loader trailer corroded after two years and only 6 or 7 exposures to salt water (yes I had washed them off).
I bought four more calipers (not Kodiak) from EZ Loader ($110 ea with my "discount") and had them installed by professionals. They incorrectly attached the hoses 90 degrees to the calipers and they wore through and one broke. I replaced the hoses with your parts myself. Then two of the replacement calipers started dragging.
Due to these frequent failures I have driven my 4,500 # rig from the Florida Keys to Puget Sound and back without any trailer brakes!
I have looked at your catalog and consider buying another set of 4 Kodiak calipers and starting over. The stainless cost too much.
I have owned over a dozen boat trailers and driven from the Keys to the San Juan's many times and even to Cabo San Lucas once. I have NEVER had trailer problems and repair expenses like this new EZ Loader trailer and the %$@#$ disk brakes. Is this a problem for others?
My comments do not relate to the hoses I bought from you. They were fine.

calipers still corroded, hoses are fine
I have a 2011 Lund impact 1775 on a Shorelander single axle trailer which tips the scale around 2500# dry. I felt that surge brakes would be a smart investment and take some pressure off my Ford F150 to help stop that beast. I researched kits, actuators, calipers and rotors and decided on the Kodiak caliper and rotor kit and the Titan actuator. eTrailer had both in stock, a convenient hose kit to boot and fair price so I purchased the lot from them. Delivery was very quick and all of the hardware arrived together and in good shape. It took me one afternoon to assemble the actuator on my swing \-away tongue and another to install the calipers and rotors. There was one snag with the hose kit, in that one of the hoses was incorrect. I contacted Bryan at eTrailer and he was very accommodating; rushing the correct hose to me and then following up by phone when I received it. It took about two hours to finish the installation and I couldn't be more pleased, both with the quality of the products and the first-rate service! I have yet to bleed the system and take it out for a run but I don't anticipate any issues. I fully recommend eTrailer, their products and service!

I want to thank you again for your assistance in getting me the correct parts for my trailer brake installation. I took three major road trips with the boat last year and the trailer brakes worked flawlessly. The major reasons I installed the braking system were: the overall weight of the boat and trailer in relationship to my pickup 2006 F150 and braking performance/safety on wet/slick roads. Both of these concerns were tested last year with wonderful results. I have been telling my friends, with similar trailer packages, to investigate your product. Thanks again,
Mike was very helpful. I ordered the wrong part he sent the correct part with full refund, even shipping,
Perfect fit.
Excellent quality and efficent service.
So far the brake line I purchased from e-trailer has worked fine. It seems to be well made.
The brake hose is emersed in salt water over sixty times each summer. There is no evidence of any corrosion on any of the fittings or the hoses over the first year of use. So far, the brake hose is holding up as good as I had hoped!

Still working Fine!
Full replacement of hubs, bearings and brakes on a boat trailer. Converted from surge brakes to electric hydraulic disk. Everything worked out great. Prompt delivery of high quality products. Highly recommend
I replaced a faulty brake line on my boat trailer. This part fit the bill perfect. It came in plenty fast and got me fixed before the weekend!
It was well packaged and had cups on the ends protecting the threads and keeping contaminants out. I'm picky about things like that, so was glad to see them on.

It has been 1 year and I continue to have no issues with the brake lines.
Perfect fit!
I have a 2001- 38 foot toy hauler fifth wheel. the brakes on it where not the best, I found them to be slow in responding and always having trouble with magnets, and shoes don't last long, I converted it over to Kodiak disk brakes. The straight line did not work well on the drop axles because of the flex of axle over ruff roads. The 90 degree brake hose when put in right place worked like a dream. The straight line I have are being used in the line from pump to the axles. sorry don't have pictures. So all in all love the parts. Thank you very much. PS: sorry it took so long to reply
1 year review -The Kodiak disc brake system was easy to install, if you have the time and jacks. Took me 1.5 days (10 hours, solo). All parts were high quality and make an unbelievable difference in stopping my 13,000lb 5th wheel. I'm confident in all situations, where before I knew yellow lights or panic stops by folks in front of me could lead to situations where I couldn't stop fast enough. Only issue I had was one of the hydraulic fittings busted during install (probably because I over torqued it). Found a replacement a autozone and was good to go.
The trailer brake lines work very well. They offer a lot of versatility in relation to metal brake lines. They hold a tight hydraulic seal, and don't leak. The 3/8-24 threaded, flared end fittings are industry standard, so matching hardware and adapters can be purchased to adapt these lines to different manufacturers' vehicles/trailers, whether they're made in Asia, Europe, or North America.
Thank You
Needed to replace a short distance of brake line from the tee to the caliper. This was a lot easier than trying to bend tube, and it was great that it already had the fittings on it that I needed. Drove the trailer 250 miles with no issues. Worked great.
Thanks! You found the line I needed! Was not easy. Thanks Garry.

Works Perfect!! Thanks so much!!
Ordered an 18" brake hose that was of better quality than the one that failed on a Nextrail twin axle bunk trailer. Hose arrived in a few days and installed easily. The price was excellent, and if I need parts in the future, Etrailer will be my first stop.
The hose material is great. Very well made, fitting crimps looked excellent, built to my order, fit perfect. Thanks
The Brake calipers, disk and mounting brackets are perfect. looks like they may out last my 05 Boat trailer.. :-)
eTrailer is my go to place for trailer Parts
