Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 20-foot-long press in window edge weatherstrip for the RVs and enclosed trailers. Now this is a window edge weatherstripping which is used to prevent water from leaking into the windows of your RV or your enclosed trailer. The salts will help eliminate noise and vibration. The rubber they use is a highly wear- and weather-resistant rubber. Protects your RV from extreme weather and pest, and it will not shrink like the original vinyl glazing on your windows.
Now I did want to zoom in so you can see a cutaway version of this, but basically when it's installed this would be the part at the bottom. It is a press in weatherstrip so it easily installs between the glass and the retaining metal frame. Dimensions on this: the length we mentioned is 20 feet. The width, which would be the bottom section right here: 5/16 of an inch wide. And then the height from here at the very top is going to be 3/4 of an inch tall.
This part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the 20-foot-long press in window edge weatherstrip for RVs and enclosed trailers..

Item sealed window up like new. Not easy to install but worth the effort.
Product was as discribed, shipping sucks,almost 2 weeks by USPS.
It has been exposed to the sun for a while now and it doesn't seem to be shrinking yet. It is keeping the water outside the window where it belongs.
Once I learned to bend the curved side in the middle, slip under outer lip and then press in, it went well. Behind the awning I needed help. I had my husband hold down the bent curved side, while I worked a BDF 2EQ Equalizer tool behind the awning, to push the weatherstrip in place. Happy it won't shrink!
The factory installed weather strip had surprisingly shrunk in spite of it being relatively new. The replacement weather strip that I installed is still looking like new after a years time has passed. It's a good product.
Weather stripping was excellent.
After having several "professionals" try to fix the window leak in our RV, I decided to try it myself (the old adage, "if you want something done right, do it yourself."). My first problem was finding the weather strip needed. After trying several camper places & Amazon, I remembered etrailer.
