To flat tow your vehicle, there are 5 basic components you're going to need: a tow bar, a base plate kit, a safety cable set, tow bar wiring, and a flat tow braking system.

The custom-fit base plate installs on the frame of your toad so you can connect the car to your RV with a tow bar. Hook up safety cables between the vehicles to ensure that the toad does not separate from the motorhome if the tow bar becomes detached. Tow bar wiring syncs your vehicle's signal lights with your motorhome's tail lights, as required by law in most states. Finally, the flat tow braking system - also required in most states - activates the brakes in the toad when you hit the brakes in the RV, making for smoother, safer braking, and preventing wear on your motorhome.

I received the newly designed Falcon 3HD towbar a day earlier than expected. The fit and finish are excellent. Importantly, the towbar arrived in excellent condition and all protective packaging was intact. Many thanks to Jill for the extra effort to procure this towbar very soon after it was released to the market by Roadmaster! I rated 4 stars versus 5 because I won't be actually towing my F-150 with it until next month. I'm looking forward to towing because the new towbar is tight and rattle-free. It's replacing a Roadmaster Blackhawk All- Terrain 2 which served me well, but after 64k miles of towing had wear that was reasonable but not addressable by the RM rebuild kit. I'm more than happy with the durability and functionality of RM products and never shop anywhere but eTrailer.
Nicely made with channels for the safety cables. Easy to hook up - easier than the Blue Ox I had before. Tried max turn left and right and didn't get close to the turn limits of this tow bar. Should be just what we need....

I bought this tow bar to replace a Roadmaster tow bar that I've had for a number of years. I stayed with Roadmaster as i'm very happy with their products. Tow bar, Invisabrake, towing base Plate kits. I'm on my fourth motorhome flat towing four diffent vehicles.
Naomi was extremely helpful in getting this shipped out same day on a Friday so I’d receive it by Monday while out on the road. Our older towmaster hitch was in need of replacement and upgraded to this newer version to handle the additional weight of my F250 behind my class A. It arrived in great condition and makes a big difference. Thanks!

Replaced our worn out Falcon 2. Very happy with this one. Stopped the little sway from what I assume was slop in the old tow bar. Shipping was great. It arrived at our campground right on time.
The newer bar required new bumper adapters for my Jeep, which delayed me from using it for a few days. My old ones don’t work with the new design. So if you have the bumper adapters with the “bushing” that threads on the ends of the bar, you’ll need a the new design which is a slip fit.
i did my own installation which gave me knowledge of the whole system and how it functions. I've towed my Jeep Wrangler with it now close to 5,000 miles and it works perfectly.Very happy with my purchase and would buy it again.
