Looking for Parts to Flat Tow 2023 Ford Bronco

Hi! I have been flat-towing my 2023 Bronco for 3 years with an RVI Brake 3 system so I am very comfortable with flat towing. I am now getting a 2026 Ford Bronco that has the electronic brake booster. I have heard that the Demco Stay in Play Duo will function well without having to do the fuse removals. Removing fuses isnt really an issue but the 5-minute waiting time for removal and install is a problem sometimes when blocking a campground entrance. Can you confirm if I am correct? If so, can you please recommend the additional accessories that I can purchase from you: Tailight kit D-ring ends for roadmaster tow bar previously bought this tow bar from etrailer Charge line kit 6 pin connector Emergency brakeaway cable if the Demco doesnt include Thank you! Hey Andrew, the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo is an excellent choice for the 2026 Bronco and includes the breakaway switch and cable, so no additional breakaway kit is needed. With that said Ford's current flat-towing instructions for the 2026 Bronco with the electronic brake booster does still require removal of the specified EBB fuses before towing. That requirement comes from Ford and is independent of the supplemental braking system, so you would still need to pull fuses with the Stay N Play.
Looks like back in 2021 you went with the Roadmaster tow bar part # RM-522 so for 1 inch thick D-rings you'd want the part # RM-035-1.
Then for a charge line kit part # RM-156-25.
When you say 6-pin connector I am not sure what you are referring to though. Are you looking for a lighting solution?

the stay in play brake system is fairly easy to install. Be sure the screws holding the cable bracker to the firewall is well secured. James said b in his comments a fuse has to be removed to flat tow the bronco, there are fuse bypass kits that plug in place of the fuse with two wires and a fuse holder on one wire. connect a switch to the two wires place your fuse you removed in the holder and you will only have to flip the switch instead of pulling the fuse. I did this on a Honda CRV we towed. For your bronco you will have two switch to flip and a breakaway cable and your brake system will be ready to tow.

Hi Andrew. We have toad a 2013 Honda CRV for roughly 15K miles with the Demco unit. I did the installation myself 3 years ago and have had no issues whatsoever. It took a few hundred miles to dial in the braking force adjustment, but I haven't had to touch it since. The Honda doesn't require pulling a fuse, so I'm no help there. BTW, kudos to whoever runs the eTrailer video service. Being able to actually see what the (good) instructions said really helped get everything sorted. Cheers, Bob
