Hey David Good day to you too! The first thing you need to flat tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is a base plate kit confirmed to fit it like the Roadmaster Direct Connect # RM24VR.

In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. The most popular compatible tow bar is the Falcon 3HD, # RM27NQ. This has non-binding arms which makes the setup very easy to connect/disconnect.

For lighting/safety cables, locks, and covers for the tow bar we have the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain kit part # RM-9243-1 which comes with all of that as one part number. The diode kit that comes with this allows you to splice into the taillight wiring so that your RV controls the vehicle taillights and does not require drilling into the taillight housings. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Curt RVi Series 4 Portable Flat Tow Brake System # RVI44FR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

Got any big trips planned? Does your Tiffin have air brakes by chance?

Thanks Jameson for your thorough response, much appreciated! Trying to escape the snow and cold and heading south to Sarasota, FL! The Tiffin doesn’t have air brakes. Thanks again! David

@DavidC Glad to help! Mind if I catch a ride? haha. Since you don't have air brakes the braking kit I mentioned would work great. Air brakes typically require a different system but you don't need to worry about that!

@DavidC I installed a Falcon 3HD on a Gladiator and it works great. I highly recommend it. Etrailer hooked me up with most of my parts, but they also suggested an option I went with from HK Offroad called a shackle tab kit that installs on the stock Jeep steel bumper. It was a bit of work but I like the results since we like to take our Gladiator off road. I had to get creative with the safety cable attachment so keep in mind my route will make the install more complicated. For braking I used the Blue ox patriot. It doesn't require a lot of installation up front, but does require a couple of minutes each time you tow. What I like about it is it can be used on different vehicles in case you decide to get another Towed. Whatever you go with, the etrailer folks do a great job of helping throughout the process. Check out their installation videos before you buy and you'll know what you're getting into.
