I have a 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid. I am new to toads. I have a 2022 class C Entrada 29 ft. I know so little I am not sure where to start.

Hi Pat; I can definitely help you get the parts you need to flat tow your 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid. You will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, and a supplemental brake system. I recommend the following:

-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM97RR

-Roadmaster Falcon 3HD Tow Bar # RM27NQ

-Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables # RM-674

-Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

-Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25

-Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System # SM99251 (or # DM86VR with wireless monitor)

-Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 (required for brake system)

More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter like # e25ZV to keep your setup level. I have attached a help article below which explains how to measure, along with a link to all of our available adapters. Wow, so many options. Many seem to be for larger Fords and other makes. I'm very new to this. We got the Ford Maverick and found out that it is a great toad. We have a Entrada 2600 ds. Also is there any one in the Seattle area that can install the needed parts?

@PatrickM it can definitely be overwhelming with the amount of parts you need, especially when it comes to the smaller things like the relay kit and charge line kit. If you don't ask for help or have some kind of guide it is easy to miss some of these. You can use our local installer tool by following the link below this comment.

I have air brakes on my motorhome. Do you have a different brake system for that? Would everything else be the same?

@Josh since you have air brakes I recommend the Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System # SM99243 instead. If you want the wireless monitor with it the correct part is # DM26VR. Everything else will remain the same.

@RobinH we currently flat tow a 2017 Kia Soul with a Hoosier Custom Cruiser motorhome. We are thinking of changing to the Maverick Hybrid this summer. I was checking the list of what we would need to flat tow and some of the items we already have but I was wondering about the supplemental braking. We currently have invisabrake and purchased because it could be moved to a different toad in the future. Will this work with a Maverick as the toad?

@Charlene yes, the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 can be used on the Maverick Hybrid. It also requires the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.
