Hey Mike, welcome back! Roadmaster recommends using safety cables with their Falcon 3HD Tow Bar item # RM27NQ. This tow bar has built in channels that allow you to route the cables through each side. The channels keep the cables from dragging on the ground. The coating on the cables also prevents scratches on your tow bar.
The Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables item # RM-674 are the safety cables Roadmaster recommends using with their Falcon tow bar item # RM27NQ. These are 80" long cables that have a coiled end to keep any excess from dragging on the road.
Do you have the rest of your flat tow setup installed?

I agree with Robert's response 100%. The cable work well but a little short for my application. I'm flat towing a Gladiator with a Falcon 3HD connected by way of D-Rings I installed on the front bumper. Safety cables are attached by way of a cable wrapped around the frame and quick links. I added a second quick link and now the connection is easier to do. The consequence of the short cable is some of the plastic protection on the steel wire scraped off where it routed into the channel on the tow bar. Still works but catches at that location some when pulling to hookup. I hope this helps and good luck.

These cable have worked very well. We had shorter cables and changed to these and there was no issues.

I was very satisfied with these cables. They fit through the bar and channel of the tow bar just fine. They are constructed well. My only issue is I think they could be a couple of inches longer. They have plenty of stretch. Overall I’m very happy with them.
