Quickly and easily install a 7-way and a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package wiring harness - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.
Features:
Installation
This custom-fit connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side.
Once installation is complete, the connectors will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is included to keep the connectors secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 7-pole and 4-pole connectors - to help prevent corrosion.

This connector installed easily and looks great. The only thing I was not aware of is hardware is not included to connect the flat part of the mounting bracket to my receiver (Part 75699) on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Had to make a small adjustment to the hole the trailer plug fits in because the factory one was a little different but it all worked out.
I am having a problem with the install of the three Curt trailer components I purchased. I intentionally bought all of the same brand assuming that they would work together. The problem is that the Curt wiring harness (part# C55774) is too long and rigid. When the 7-pin connector is installed in the bracket that comes with it, it measure 5 inches until the black wire protective sleeve bends (to go under the hitch receiver frame).
The no-drill bracket (part# C57202) is supposed to attach the harness bracket to the hitch. But it is only 6.5" long, and the hitch tube is 3" wide. So with the bracket attached to the hitch, there is only 3.5" of space left to mount the harness bracket so that the screw holes line up.
I am disappointed that this is the case, especially as I called etrailer to check that the parts I was ordering would work together.
It looks like I will have to discard C57202 and drill two holes into the bottom of the hitch and mount the harness bracket directly. This is what I wanted to avoid - having to drill holes.
1 of 4 included #10-32 x 1" machine screws used to mount housing to bracket was defective and would not thread into nut. Machine screws to mount bracket onto vehicle are not included (understandable considering unknown thickness of mounting surface). 2 screws to mounting surface would be #10 in size but unknown length.
I bought this controller and the harness adapter for my 2003 Silverado about a year ago. It works perfectly, was basically plug and play! In contrast, about 45 years ago I worked for a company that installed hitches, wiring and controllers, the installation was a lengthy process. Etrailer has the good stuff, good customer service & support!
Super easy, very nice! Great engineering, couldn’t have been any easier! The girls at etrailer are super friendly and very helpful! Great prices and quick shipping, too!!

Great. No problems.
Perfect fit. My truck was not equipped with a tow package so I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit. The wiring and plug were already there with a cap on it to seal it from dirt/water. Took the cap off and this harness snapped right in place. Also installed an etrailer hitch and new bumper. Very happy with the products and the installer tools and information provided by etrailer.com.
works good , took to long getting here !!
Harness was easy to install. The truck came prewired. It just needed the adapter. We dremeled our the back of the bumper (2019 Titan’s have the cut our outlined on the back side already). We had to dremel 2 side prices off the harness, but it slide right now. Then we drilled through the plastics bumper cover and the metal on the bumper and bolted the bracket to the bumper.
The 4 point is just fished between the license plate and the bumper. It was easy and it now looks factory. Very happy with how it came out! Install was a cinch!
Part didn't fit.
I have a 2018 Nissan Titan, and while the connector was a perfect fit for connectivity to the factory connector. The Curt T-Connector wiring harness was about 6 inches short from connecting to the factory harness when mounted on the trailer hitch bracket. So, I was forced to mount it on the opposite side by drilling holes in bumper.
This is the wrong part for my truck and when I called about the correct part i was told that you did not have it and I could return this part but wouldn’t receive a refund only a credit with a shipping deduction. Then I got the label and it will not print correctly due to the size sent and cannot be resized. Very disappointed, I’ve been purchasing from etrailer for a few years and never been this disappointed before
If you have multiple trailers that either use a 4-way flat or 7-pin round connector and get tried of having to use an adapter go with this setup. I've had one on my other truck for a couple years and no problems with 'em thus far. You can technically use the old existing mount on the receiver hitch itself but the 4-way will dangle unless you ziptie it up.
My 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3L diesel had the original factory hitch and wiring harness. The quality and heft of the Curt T-Connector is impressive. I bet I get years of use without problems.
Great product. Installed on my 2018 Jeep GC. Because of dual 4 pin and 7 pin connector I don’t need an adaptor when swapping out trailers/camper. Clean look to it as well.
Great price
Product as described
Communication and shipping good
Very easy, plugged right into the uscar connector, drilled 2 holes for the bracket, done
Awesome customer service!
Didn't have to use it, Vehicle had wiring installed already
Functionality is perfect. Plugs right in to factory plug and both the 7 pin and flat 4 plugs work fine.
The biggest problem is with the bracket. After mounting, the bracket sits too high to allow the 7 pin cover to lift up high enough to use. The cover hits the bottom of the bumper when lifted. I needed to use it right away, so I zip tied the plug to the hitch. Eventually I will extend the bracket to mount the plug properly.
Real instructions would be nice. The factory website instructions are insultingly worthless

That sounds bothersome to deal with. You were on the right track with the zip tie method. We have a bracket that will extend out away from your bumper and attaches to your hitch using hose clamps, part # C57202.
Great transaction with great follow up, thanks again

The 7-way bracket that comes with the wiring harness part # C55774 is designed to be installed with the wiring harness bracket hanging below the no drill bracket part # C57202. Since you are worried about the loose wiring I would recommend using some wire loom such as part # 459075-1 to protect your wiring and zip tie any slack with zip ties part # DW05726-25. I know this is not the option you wanted but I feel it is better than drilling into the hitch.
