The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver is a direct bolt-on fit which means no drilling or cutting is required. If you need a trailer connector we have that as well, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C55774 which comes with a mounting bracket.

Want to replace stock broken rcvr. hitch on 06 3500 H.D.Chevc. cab 4-wd w/ the c15312. Is the 2 square receiver opening @ the same location as stock. Have non adjustable Hensley & dontwant to order another Z bar if its much different. Thank You.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2" # C15312 will fit in the factory cutout location and is a great fit or a replacement. I recommend getting the Class V because your factory option that broke was likely a class III and this will give you a stronger 2 inch hitch. If you have the Deep drop bumper from the factory, then I recommend # C15313 instead. This is only a fit for the deep drop style bumper.
