Today were going to review part number PK11893-11932. This is the Pollak Fifth Wheel Gooseneck T-Connector Wiring Harness with the included 7-way connector for the truck bed. This part is great for trucks that are pulling fifth wheels or goosenecks. This will allow you to provide a second 7-way connector in the bed of your truck closer to your fifth wheel or gooseneck. Basically, what this wiring harness consist of, it will have the 7-way which is to be used in the bed of your truck. You have to drill a hole into the truck bed and then install this.
It will include the harness itself which is a 7-1/2 foot long harness. On one end is the T-connector. On the other end are the loose pins that will need to be pinned in to this connector which youll attach to the extra 7-way. Now basically this will plug into your OEM harness. On your truck you actually have a 7-way already thats like this.
What youll need to do is remove it, unplug underneath your truck, unplug the OEM wiring harness from the back of your factory 7-way thats on there now. Youll take this end of the T-connector and plug it into your OEM wiring harness, this other end with the blue locking ring in there. Well plug into the factory 7-way thats on the back of your truck. Now what you need to do is go to the other end of this harness and -youll see the pins are all loose that need to be pinned to the connector here. What you want to do is if you go to the product page for this part number or the wiring harness, at the bottom of the page we have a picture of this socket and it will show you the numbers on it.
Theres also, if you look real close here, Ill try to show you the numbers are actually marked on the connector itself or the socket right here. That will help you out. What you want to do is on the product page it will show you what wire goes to what number on this socket. It will say number one so youll find the hole here that will have a one by it, which will be right here. Then it will say red wire.
You just take this red wire thats coming out of the harness and then push it into the red hole that has a number one by it. Okay, and when you push it in you can hear it lock into place. It snaps into place and is locked in there. Then youll just go around, take each wire, it will say number two is the white wire. Theres the number two hole. Youll take the white wire and push that in and just go all the way around. Usually what you want to do is I would recommend to also get the middle wire plugged in there because you dont want to have them all plugged on the outside and then it will be hard to get to the middle one. Once the wires would all be connected to this, what you want to do then is take this blue locking ring and line it up with this. Theres a cut out right here and then just push that down over it and that will lock all those pins into place. Before you do this you want to make sure that is pinned correctly because this is pretty hard to get off. It would end up looking like this when this ones already pinned in with the locking plate in. Now, if by chance when you do push one of these in and its the wrong on and the wrong hole you find out, theres a simple solution. All you have to do is look at the one thats wrong. If you say this red one is in the wrong hole, look right here and right underneath where the metal clip is pushed in there, theres a little tab. What you want to do is just take your little screwdriver, push that tab towards the center of this connector and boom, it will allow you to pull the wire right out so theres no harm if you get the wrong one in there, then just get the right one and push it in there. Once you have all these wired correctly or pinned correctly and the locking ring on then you can--this would already be installed in the bed of your truck. Just take this end, line it up, boom, push it right on it will be locked into place. If youre all good with it just push this gray locking ring down and that will lock everything together so nothing will come apart. Before you push this locking ring down, if you need to take it off, just push this little tab down here and that will be removed easily. Just a few tips on installing this to make it a lot easier. This will fit Chevy, GMC, Ford and Nissan trucks. Again, the length of this harness is 7-1/2 ft and it does come with a one-year limited warranty. That should do it for review on part number PK11893-11932.

This socket plugs into T-connector to provide a 7-pole trailer connector in the truck bed for use with fifth wheels. Connector plugs into OEM wiring harness to allow for a 7-pole connector in the truck bed.The wire harness allows me to use to split my Trailer plug in for either my 5th Wheel Trailer or my Tow behind Cargo Trailer. It was very simple to install only took about 30 minutes. I would recommend this item to anyone who needs to split their Trailer Plug. 421778
No instructions came with this wiring kit. I find it ridiculous that universal color codes do not apply to this kit! I blew a fuse right off the bat using the colors as they apply to almost all vehicle manufacturers. The wire colors were the same, however the placement in the plug that is pre-wired is not correct. If this is a standard policy, it would have been nice to have an instruction sheet stating that. My choice was to either correctly place and change the pre-wired plugs, or make the other end match the incorrectly color coded plugs. 634387
There is more than one accepted convention for color coding a 7-way trailer connector, which is why we list both by wire color AND wire function. This can be seen higher up on this page in the product description.
--The directions were a little confusing. The direction had the wire colors a little mixed up. Someone needs to experiment with the equipment to straiten out the colors and which light they belong to. The product works great. It makes me feel safer!! 453703
The Pollak Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring product has worked great. I havent had any problems with it at all.
I bought the Pollak PK11893-11932 wire harness to install in my 2013 Ford F350 King Ranch pickup. I watched the video both on youtube and on e-Trailer's site and the install went exactly as described. One item of interest, I unbolted the bracket that supports the OEM trailer connection at the rear of the truck because I found this easier than trying to pry the connections apart while the bracket was still on the truck. Two bolts and it came right off and allowed me to see the top side of the OEM connector for easier separation of the Ford wire harness. Other than that, it went as smooth as silk. Total time to complete the job, about 45 minutes. This is a great product. I would highly recommend this for any 5th wheel towing vehicle. It makes the whole appearance of your truck and 5th wheel look neater, instead of having the 5th wheel cable hanging over the tailgate. Very nice. Thanks Pollak and e-Trailer. 88852
Thanks for the follow up Patrick. I love the Y connector. I installed it in my 2013 F-350 King Ranch, for the 5th wheel I tow and it makes the whole connection neat and clean. No wires hanging over the tail gate. The install was a breeze. I was somewhat apprehensive about drilling a 2 hole in the wall of my brand new truck, but Etrailers product installation instructions relieved my anxiety. I appreciate the attention to detail that obviously went into the design of this product. Once again thanks for the follow up.
The Pollak 5th Wheel T-Connector w/7 Pole, is a great product. The hardest part of the installation on my 2014 Ford F-250 truck was cutting the hole in the box, need a drill that has power. I used a half inch electric drill. The Pollak connector plugged into the Ford factory electrical connections with ease. This T-Connector was just what I was looking for. I pull a 32' 5th Wheel Camper, the camper cord plugs into the Pollak connector with no issues. Thanks! 148953
I have had no issues with the Pollak Custom Vehicle Wiring for my Camper that I installed on my 2014 Ford F-250 Truck, it is functioning as it should. Thanks for making a great product.
First of all what I like about this product...it does what it's supposed to do. That is, to tap into the OEM wiring harness and provide a trailer wiring plug in the truck bed for a gooseneck trailer. What I don't like had entirely to do with installation. There were no instructions...none. Not even a diagram showing which wires go in which holes. The plug was marked with what the wires do but not the color. I know what colors are generally used for what task on trailer wiring, but does the manufacturer? It turns out they do but I had to stop in the middle of the installation, go into the house, turn on the computer and watch the install video. Not the end of the world, but a PITA none-the-less. My other major issue was with the install screws provided. These are the cheapest POS, made in china screws they could find. They were also slotted head screws. Come on...really?!?! Slotted head screws!?!?! Really?!?! On top of that these screws weren't self-tapping, like you think would be used on the INSIDE of the truck bed, they had a nut on the back side which a person would supposedly snake on, somehow, in the blind space between the inner and outer walls of the truck bed. Since I didn't have a helper, nor 7' long arms, I dug through my screw stash and found the exact self-drilling, self-tapping screws that Pollack should have provided. I actually would have preferred they provide no install screws at all. I don't know which is sillier. That Pollack won't spend a nickel more for the screws that they should provide, or that it annoys me so much. For a nickel work of screws, and a single picture or diagram showing which wire goes into what hole, I would have given Pollack an excellent rating. Pollack would do well to take some customer satisfaction classes. Perhaps they could look to B & W or etrailer for that. 172730
Ditto Ditto Tim B! Mine did come with self tapping screws, but only two! Go figure. So, I figure Ill put the two in kitty corner and round up the others. But the screws arent even long enough to screw in. The hole got drilled but not enough threads left to screw. They supplied 12 inch and needed to be 3/4. The other screws they supply are worthless. Just ship 4 self tappers 3/4 long and forget the others. And an included wiring diagram would have been nice. Like you said, I had to bring up the website again just to wire the plug.
-- comment by: Pete W - 06/25/2015In the video it states that if you look on the page for this installation and scroll down it shows you a colour diagram of the colour coding. As for the screws I guess I should just go buy 4 before I even order this kit. Cheers
-- comment by: Jason - 12/16/2015This product works great. The plug that was in my bed had been mostly wired by the previous owner, and his wiring job left something to be desired. I needed to replace the factory wiring to my plug on my bumper, and I just didn't like the thought of splicing wires on my brand new harness to make my plug in my bed functional again. I found this product, and it gave me exactly what I was looking for- a solution that required no splicing of my new harness and a good, solid wiring job to my plug. I want to do it right the first time and know that it is going to work when I need it. From reserch that I have done, I found that Pollak was the OEM supplier of the wiring harness on my F-250, so you know you are getting factory quality with this product. The installation is pretty straight forward, but it can't hurt to watch the video on this product. It took me some time to modify the existing hole in my bed so this plug would fit, but that was the hardest part of the installation. Just make sure you pick a spot that has enough area for the wiring and the back of the plug to fit before you go cutting holes. The hardware kit that comes with the product didn't really help me out, but I didn't see where it was advertised that it comes with hardware, so I can't knock them for that. Two final, but important pieces of advice I would like to share: Make sure you run your wiring to the location of the plug BEFORE you put the wires into the socket. I didn't think about this, but luckily, the plug barely fit where I needed it to go. Also, make sure you connect the wires correctly before pushing the blue piece into place. There is another plug just like it on the other end of the wire. Use it as a template and double check....no triple check your connections. Like I said earlier, this plug does exactly what I wanted it to do. I now have a factory quality connection with correctly sized wires to my plug in my bed. Plus, buying this option is cheaper than many other ones and allows you to run wires into tight places that similar products may not...not knocking other products, I just see that as a positive feature of this one. I hope this helps! 70155
Wiring harness came quickly and was exactly as described. Super simple installation. Drill your hole in your truck bed where you want your 5th wheel plug to be. I used a 2.5” hole saw. Follow the color coordinated drawing to install the wires in your new plug. Just unplug your existing factory 7way plug, feed the wiring down through your new hole, use 4 metal screws to secure your new plug in your bed. Now go underneath, route your new harness and zip tie out of the way. Plug in the new harness to your oem factory 7 way plug, then use the remaining plug to plug back into your 7 way plug mounted to the truck on or under the bumper if you plan on using that plug again. I wanted to as I have a four way on my bumper as well. Fast and easy, no sweat. 542064
The hitch was very well made and easy to install. I'm very happy with the purchase. I would recommend this 5th wheel hitch to anyone needing one. It even came with the grease for the ball. 718901
this was a very good purchase for me. It wasa time saver as I am leaving tomorrow to go camping so the quick delivery and the ease of installation made this the right choice, 718377

This is a great fit on my 2018 ram 2500. Easy to install and makes a neat install and water tight connection. Would highly recommend this product to anyone. 679851
Product arrived without a wiring diagram or instructions to install it. Luckily there was an installation video and diagram on the website. etrailer to the rescue again! Wish they made this in a 5ft harness. 677798
Very complete kit. 666911
Have purchased this product for other trucks and they have worked perfectly. Have not had an opportunity to install it yet so no pictures. 657916
I had wanted to add a plug to the bed for sometime but never got around to it. Finally got this kit and it was simple to install. etrailer had the pinout on the website for our truck and an install video to watch if needed. The hardest thing you have to do is drill into the bed. 652147
Nice product, well designed, perfect for setting up a bumper mount 7 pin adapter and a gooseneck adapter in the truck bed. Plugs right into the existing Ford harness. Couldn't be easier. 639603

Great product, easy to install. I would recommend getting some dielectric grease with your order. 542125
I only can give the product 1-star, and here's why: "The instructions you requested are not currently available from the manufacturer". We apologize for any inconvenience. …………… Wonderful! 520097
Service was excellent, fast delivery. Only gave 4 stars because the were no instructions included. Wasn’t a huge deal for me but others with no experience would benefit. 519142
Easy to install. Worked with 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500. 519125
I purchased a Pollak 5th Wheel/Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-pole Part# PK11893-11932 and received item promptly. The wiring harness was easy to install and the install was virtually self-explanatory-(if you have some mechanical/electrical experience). I am pleased with the product as I have used Pollak products in the past and was familiar with the quality associated with the name. I am also pleased with the entire experience of doing business with etrailer and will use them again. I appreciate their variety of products to assist in most any trailer repair, hook-up or axle modifications. 500642
We received this product and one of the pieces wasn't included it only took me one phone call and the customer service was very helpful in getting the problem corrected and sending out the missing part. Would highly recommend this vendor. 496568
No instructions and no mounting hardwar e. 490425
Exactly what I needed. Very clean way to access wiring harness. 475394
This product made adding a remote trailer plug quick and easy. It make hooking up so much nicer than running the cord over the tail gate. 472516
Installation was easy. Need several long zip ties to make everything look good. 468558
No problem with product so far. Not even a hiccup. Easy install with instructions. 467677
It installed easily, and has performed as expected. The shipping was timely as well. 465857

Better quality than expected. Perfect fit, easy install. 450002
Install was much easier than expected. Looks to be a well made piece. No problems, perfect fit. 450001
Easy installation. 442820
Easy to install, works great. 431340
With just pigtail connections it was just a small hole I needed to cut on the interior sidewall. Fished it with a coat hanger. Mounted reciprocal in factory plastic toolbox on our 2017 Titan XD. Easy installation. 425507
The wiring harness was easy to install and works great. Only issue I had installing it on a 2016 F250 was the depth of the harness. The back end is kinda crushed in rubbing on the backside of the skin on the truck. I put some anti-chafe tape down and its fine but an angled down harness at the end would have been a better fit. 425410
Ordered a 5th wheel/ Gooseneck T-connector Order came fast and exactly what I needed. Great instructions for install and has been working 100% Price was unbeatable I will definitely shop here again. Mike 422934
Still working 100 Thanks for the great product
I received my B&W turnover ball hitch and Pollack 7 pole electrical harness. I have not had them installed as of yet. I will come back and do another review onc installed. 419589
Shipped with my other order on time and as expected. Installed easily, though I would add that I remember discovering that the wiring schematic was insufficient. I was able to overcome this obstacle with a search online that worked great. That was the only hiccup in the whole operation and I love having the trailer wiring harness tucked away neatly in the corner of the bed away from mischief with a professionally installed appearance. 417083
Fits nicely for my Ram 3500. It was exavtly what i was looking for. Installation was fairly easy. I would recommend this. 410889
