  Hey Ron, it sounds like you have the 7/4-way connectors that open from the sides which don't allow both to be open at the same time like the # N40975. So you have a couple options. You could replace the setup with the part # 30955 which I actually have on my Tahoe that does easily allow both connectors to work at same time or you could install the 4-way adapter part # C56584 which installs inline with the 7-way connector of your truck to give you an additional 4-way.

  I took a look at the factory wiring on the 2019 Nissan Frontier and factory tow plug wiring is located along the driver's side frame rail behind the rear bumper.
