This Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack gives you dependable space on top for your gear. It’s a complete system with two 60" long JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit. The aluminum construction keeps it lightweight yet solid under load, with a 165-lb weight capacity. Whether you’re hauling kayaks, canoes, or a cargo box, the sturdy design lets you load up with confidence.
Highway whistling and vibration can take the joy out of a road trip. The JetStream’s aero-style shape and push-down rubber strips help keep things quiet by reducing wind noise and drag. Those same strips also seal the top channels to keep air flowing smoothly across the bars. You’ll notice the difference when the cabin stays calm even with gear up top.
Some racks make you cut rubber inserts to mount accessories. With this one, you don’t have to trim anything. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels let you press your hardware straight into place. Once your carrier is mounted, the strips flatten around it to keep a clean surface that also helps block noise and vibration.
Whatever you’re packing—cargo boxes, kayak carriers, bike mounts, or ski holders—these bars are ready for it. The aero-style design works with most universal accessories that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. It’s an easy way to use the attachments you already have and keep your setup flexible for everything from lake days to long cross-country trips.
When you stop at a trailhead or rest area, it’s nice to know your setup can stay put. The Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores are sold separately and let you add theft deterrence to the rack. It’s a simple upgrade that keeps your gear secure wherever your travels take you.

Did not get to mount anything to it but seems really sturdy. One thing I can say is mark out your mounting points with provided stickers then put up and make adjustments to the roof rack.

Your notice of schemes was a lot better than the yakima site provided. They did not suggest the scheme you did.
But when the products arrived, the instructions were by yakima. Generally worked as instructed except the tower to tower transverse mounting dimensions needed to be tweaked for a perfect fit.

Easy to install and sturdy. I carry a 9' pontoon boat on my camper shell using this rack at freeway speeds with no problems.
So far so good. Purchased these towers to use on a 2022 GMC Canyon with HD bars that I already had, primarily to carry my canoe. Yakima's fitting instructions worked perfectly and the whole system seems really solid.
We had to wait on stock a little longer than expected BUT etrailer kept me informed of the progress. Once I received the products installation was a breeze thanks to the instructional videos.

Work exactly as they should and hold everything securely to my vehicle without interfering with the car’s normal operation. etrailer had best prices based on my research. These bars are much quieter than traditional round bars and worth the added expense.
Excellent solution for my 2023 Chevy Silverado. In the past, I have had rails installed on the roof of my pickup trucks, but I find the BaseLine towers to be a better solution, since they don't permanently change the truck. Plus, they are much more solid than SkyLine system on the rails.

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry, my purpose is to purchase this Yakima Baseline System for Rooftop tent. My 23Zero rooftop tent weighs 130 lb, so far it's super solid. I did some minor adjustments based on the shape and level of the roof when mounting it.
I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT which has the non-functional roof side bars. Etrailer.com helped me figure this out and gave me several options that would work. As I already have Yakima bike racks - I wanted to stick with the brand. The price on etrailer.com was the same as Yakima but had free shipping and no tax - awesome.
The Yakima product came with thorough and easy to understand instructions. I was able to get the track installed and working in about an hour - and that was taking it slow and double checking everything. I was very pleased with the fit and finish.
After a test run, there was no wind noise or issue with the rack. Looking forward to taking a road trip next month with it!

Great UX for finding the options matching my car, and the baseline towers work great. Simple straightforward site, will plan to use them again when needed.
For those also buying crossbars for cars without roof rails, recommend taking a silver sharpie and marking the placement of the crossbars on the weather seal at the top of the door openings. Makes putting them back on way less of a hassle if you don’t want them on 24/7.
