Question:

Looking for a roof basket to fit my 2022 Grand Cherokee WK2. I do not have crossbars and wanted to know if there is an option to mount directly to the rails for a more sleek appearance? Also, will it clear the “fin” antenna?

We have a couple of options to set your Grand Cherokee WK up with a roof basket but you're going to need to add a pair of crossbars to your roof rails. There isn't any way to mount a basket directly to the side rails.

If your Jeep has the black and chrome track flush mounted rails that run front to back you will want the Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points item # RRRVP27.

If your Jeep has the matte black flush mounted rails that run front to back you will need the roof rack by Yakima and it includes the following parts:

Both of these roof racks are flush mounted which means they won't extend past the rails on your roof. They are compatible with the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket item # TH859XT-8591XT you were looking at. You should have no clearance issues with your antenna.
