Question:
Hi there, I have a ‘22 Ford Maverick. I’m looking at the Jetstream bars but I can’t figure out what I need for the towers. I know it’s the Baseline FX towers but I don’t know what to get specifically that would go with the Jetstream. Im also open to the Core Bars and I’d assume the towers would be the same. Could you let me know what products to buy that would allow me to fit a Tower for the bars on my Maverick?

Hi Alvin,
Nice choice going with the Yakima rack as they make really high-quality gear. As for the correct parts for your 2022 Ford Maverick, you can actually get everything combined with just one part number depending on the bars you want.
You mentioned the FX, and that is a flush-style roof rack system, which means the bars only go the width of your roof with no overhang. The FX uses bars and towers that are combined, so they aren't actually separate; to go that route you'd just need the following:
- Yakima BaseLine FX Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - JetStream Crossbars # Y98FD
The FX roof rack uses 48 inch crossbars and the flush style, so if you were wanting longer, 60 inch crossbars that overhang past the feet for your '22 Maverick, you can go that route as well with any of the following options:
- JetStream Crossbars: Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Black # Y22AB or Silver # Y23EB
- CoreBar Crossbars: Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # Y59SB
Also, I did want to mention you can add locks to these in order to keep them safely on your roof by adding Lock Cores # Y07204.

Hi Kyle, Thanks for your response! Mistake on my end regarding FX. I should clarify, I want the JetStream Crossbars for sure but not sure what I need to get in terms of Tower. From my prelim research, do I get the Baseline tower and BaseClip 180? Then I get the 60" Jetstream bars? I guess another question while I'm at it. I'm looking at getting either a Lock n Load platform or a Rhino Pioneer platform for the bars, do you have a recommendation for size? Thanks
