Hi I have a question about the roof rack system and roof tent Im trying to put together. I have the issue where I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the fake roof rails, so I need to use the Thule fit kit that goes in the door jambs rather than the roof rails. Im looking at buying a Tepui Explorer Kukenam 3, and I just wanted your opinion on whether this tent will be ok with that rack I assume that the door jamb setup is not as strong as the rail systems. The capacities for roof racks are a dynamic rating which means it's how much weight it can carry when travelling on bumpy roads so the static number is much higher. While a static number is available for most racks (including this) we know that with as high of a dynamic capacity as this rack has it would easily work great for the tent.
