This Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack gives you the setup you need to carry gear securely on a naked roof. It comes as a complete system with two JetStream crossbars, four BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit for a stable, custom installation. Built from aluminum, the black crossbars measure 50" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall and can handle up to 165 lbs of evenly distributed weight. Wind noise can make long drives tiring, but these JetStream bars use an aero-style shape to help reduce that whistling and vibration. The rubber strips in the top channels seal around mounted accessories, further cutting down on airflow noise. The result is a smoother, quieter ride that makes highway driving more comfortable when you’ve got gear up top.
You can easily attach gear using either the top channels or clamp-around mounts. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels let you press hardware directly into place—no trimming required. Whether you’re hauling a cargo box, water sport carriers, or bike mounts, this setup makes loading simple and keeps your options open for different types of trips.
The rack accepts Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores, sold separately, which help deter theft of the rack itself. It’s an easy way to add security when leaving your setup unattended at campgrounds, trailheads, or hotel parking lots during road trips.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
