Question:
Im looking for a roof rack I can mount a kayak to, without adding excess noise. All Im worried about is that this rack system will be able to clamp onto my door well given that its a two door car. In addition, Im hoping that the angle wont be tilted too far forward, and that the bars are far enough apart to provide stability for my kayak. I have a 2013 civic coupe lx with no existing roof rack system.

The roof rack I recommend for you is the Yakima JetStream Roof Rack with 60 Inch Long JetStream Bars # Y00426, BaseLine Towers # Y28TR, Fit Kit # Y06125 for the front bar, and Fit Kit # Y06143 for the rear bar. The JetStream crossbars feature an aerodynamic shape to help minimalize wind noise and keep the ride quieter than racks that use more traditional round or square crossbars. This rack is designed to fit your Civic coupe and will mount in the door well for both the front and rear crossbars. I've attached a photo of this rack installed on a similar Civic for you.
This rack places the crossbars 24 inches apart on top of your roof, which is the minimum distance for most kayak carriers, such as the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier # Y04073. The JayLow will work great on your Civic coupe and allow you to carry your kayak in the J-style cradle for additional support. This kayak carrier can also carry an additional kayak when the back upright arms are in a vertical position rather than tilted back. The bow and stern tie downs and the kayak tie down straps needed to secure 1 kayak are included with this carrier. To secure a second kayak, you would want an extra set of tie downs # Y05006 and bow/stern tie downs # Y04031.
I've attached a review video for you.
