We can help you with a roof rack and surf board carriers for your 2004 Honda Civic 2-door coupe.
Roof rack options for your Civic come from Yakima and SeaSucker and are displayed on the page I linked for you. Yakima offers both standard round bar racks and also their quieter Jetstream rack systems. The round bar rack is the lowest-cost setup and is made of parts # Y00408, # Y28TR, # Y03536, # Y06162 and # Y06159.
But for only a few more dollars you can get the black Jetstream rack, which is what I recommend. This setup consists of parts # Y00425, # Y28TR, # Y06162 and # Y06159. Most of these parts are common between the two racks; only the bars differ. Please refer to the linked video for more info.
For surfboard carriers you can refer to the other linked page. A nice option for carrying two boards is the saddle-style Thule Shuttle # TH811XT which is shown in the other video I included for you. Inno offers the similar Locker # INA446 which is lockable, unlike the Thule.
We also have pad-style carriers like # RRRWP03 from Rhino-Rack and others and also foam block-type carriers like the Malone Deluxe # MPG152. Foam block carriers do not have to be used with a roof rack; they can also rest right on your bare roof. These are cost-effective but less stable than a rack-mounted carrier.
Then there is the SeaSucker board carrier that uses high-strength vacuum cups - no roof rack needed! - the single-board carrier # 298-BX1806.
The linked article on watersport carriers may be of interest as you consider what best fits your budget and travel needs.
