With a 165-lb weight capacity (always stay within your vehicle’s roof load limit), it’s ready to handle cargo boxes, kayaks, or other adventure gear without flexing or wobbling.
Long drives are quieter and smoother thanks to the aerodynamic profile of the JetStream crossbars. The push-down rubber strips fill the top channels to manage airflow, cutting down on whistling and vibration that can otherwise get annoying on the highway. The strips also stay in place when you add accessories—no trimming or extra steps required—so you get a clean setup every time.
These aero-style crossbars play nice with almost all universal cargo, water, snow, and bike carriers. You can mount accessories directly into the top channels or clamp them around the bars. That means one rack can handle your paddleboards in the summer, a ski carrier in the winter, and a cargo box for road trips without changing your whole setup.
You can add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) to secure the rack to your roof. It’s an easy upgrade that helps deter theft of the rack when you’re parked at a trailhead or campsite. Once locked, everything stays solidly in place until you’re ready to hit the road again.
