Question:

I see the hullivator plus. If I buy that I will have to buy the crossbars. What I wonder is - is there a foot that I can use to mount it to the standard flush roof rails on my 2021 Rav4? If so what foot pack would I need to get? Also I watched your video on installing the WINGBAR EVO KIT ON A 2012 RAV4. Is sthere a way I can use my Hullivator pro with that I had been using it on a Ford Escape with square crossbars

The Thule Hullavator Pro, part # TH898, does in fact need crossbars that extend 4" - 8" beyond the feet. To use the flush rails on your 2021 Toyota RAV4, you will need a roof rack that has feet that are compatible with the rails.

With those two stipulations in mind, the Thule WingBar Evos don't look like they will provide enough clearance with their 47" of crossbar length. Instead, I recommend the Yakima HD Crossbars, part # Y01156. They are 55" long, so they will have the extension you need. They can handle 165 pounds.

To mount them to your flush rails, you will need the SkyLine Towers, part # Y53TR. They attach with the HD Bar SL Adapter, part # Y03541, and the Landing Pad 23, part # Y98FR.

I want to double check this same set up will work on a 2024 Rav4 as well? If so, can you tell me how many inches the overhang will be. Thank you.

i bought those on your advice and they do not adapt to my hullavator. a week of summer wasted. do you know what will work with my hullavator?????

@Dan The Thule Hullavator # TH898 comes with two ways to mount it; one being by clamping the base to the crossbars (depending on the crossbar), and the other by using the include square nuts to mount the Hullavator into the t-slot on top of the crossbars. What crossbars do you have?
