The aero-style crossbars are built to handle highway speeds quietly. Their shape helps reduce drag and noise, while the push-down rubber strips in the top channels fill the gaps to keep airflow smooth. You won’t need to trim or cut anything—just press your accessory hardware into the channel and the strips close back around it to keep things tight and quiet on the road.
Built from durable aluminum, these black crossbars hold up under serious use. Whether you’re hauling water gear, camping supplies, or a cargo box full of travel essentials, the rack supports up to 165 lbs (always stay within your vehicle’s roof load limit). The sturdy construction keeps the load stable trip after trip.
This rack doesn’t limit what you can carry. The JetStream crossbars fit most universal cargo carriers, kayak mounts, bike racks, and snow gear attachments using either top channels or clamp-around mounts. That means your existing accessories fit right in—no need for special adapters or complicated setups.
If you want extra protection for your gear, Yakima’s Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) drop right into the TimberLine towers. They let you lock the rack to the rails so you can leave your setup on overnight or at a trailhead with confidence.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
