I’m looking to see if the Yakima lock n load platform can be attached to my existing cross bars. If so, what other parts do I need to purchase to get that done? I have a 2024 Forester Wilderness. Thanks!

Hey Jeff,
There's going to be two ways to attach a Yakima LockNLoad Platform to the roof of your Forester. If mounting to crossbars you can use crossbar clamps # Y05039 (qty 2).
If you decide you don't want to use the crossbars and instead use just the rails that run front-to-back then you would need TimberLine Towers # Y33TR (qty 4) and SL adapters # Y05042 (qty 2).
Yakima recommends the 60" Long x 54" Wide # Y05045 for your Forester. This would require two sets of crossbar clamps or two sets of SL adapters depending on which mounting style you'd prefer.
