The emblem shows the majestic bald eagle behind the US shield with its wings spread, perched atop of a ball and anchor.
It is a screen printed, color emblem. It has a nice chrome plated metal frame which is stylish and durable. It's all mounted on this black powder coated metal base to resist rust and fading. It even includes this nice foam gasket here that when you slide this into your hitch receiver, this will go up against the hitch to prevent any rattling.Now this does require a 5/8 inch hitch pinning clip or hitch lock to hold this cover into your receiver. We do sell those separately on our website and they are usually listed on this product page as a related product.
Again, the application is for two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. A few measurements on the face of this and this does extend out a little so we're going to measure edge to edge. You're looking right at five inches wide, the height on it from the bottom to the very top is right at 3 1/2 inches tall. And just to show you basically, here's a two inch hitch receiver opening and you can see all you have to do is slide this in, line your holes up, put your pin right through there and then you're all ready to go.
