We made a special 5 hour drive to etrailer, and etrailer did (Fantastic) installation work on this part as well as installing the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate-4420-1, with Removable Arms, Wiring-RM-152-98146-7, Braking System-SM99251, Tow Bar-RM-522, Safety Cables-RM-645, and Brake Lite Relay-RM-88400 Kit on our 2011 Ford Fusion. We absolutely love this system. Ease of connectability and reliability is great. etrailer has stood tall on complete customer satisfaction and has prided themselves on doing things the right way the first time. We have a 2016 Honda Accord Touring that we are considering as a future tow vehicle, etrailer will be a clear choice. We recommend them with confidence. The bracket and hardware were good, however the strap holding the bracket onto the hitch tube would not open. I called for a replacement and spoke with Dru who said He would send a new one out. I was ready to install the two brackets and had to put the project on hold.

The videos that are part of the web site were a great help in selecting all the needed parts, detailed down to the part numbers that were needed.
I really like the fact that there is a video showing the brake controller installation with my specific vehicle.

Working perfectly
This extension "No-Drill Bracket" was easy to install and was very solid.
Nice mount. I added no slip tape to the hitch to help prevent mount from wearing thru the powder coat finish on the hitch. Nice, easy and clean setup.
I have installed this on the bottom of the receiver hitch on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 7-pin connector mounted on the bottom side for easier access.
It does not work for the Honda Passport Trailsport. The hitch sits behind and above the bumper and there is no where that it can be mounted that would give you access to the plug. I had to use a 90 degree metal plate and then mount the bracket to the side of the hitch.
Works as expected. Clamp screw slips a bit when starting to tighten. I would have opted for the shorter bracket. This one puts the connector even with hitch receiver.
I was surprised at how sturdy this installation is. etrailer sure helped me out along the way with this installation. Special thanks to Alex J for his help on several occasions to help me get the right hitch and accessories for my new 2021 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy.
The Curt No-Drill Bracket worked absolutely perfect for my Drawtite hitch on my 2016 Subaru Outback. Super easy installation and the hose clamp worked a lot better and tighter than I expected it to. I would highly recommend this product if you are wanting to mount your wire harness to your hitch!
Went together without any problems, I pre-assembled the two brackets ( 7-Way Round Trailer Connector Mounting Bracket - Long - C57202 and the Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Vehicle End - PK12711U) then crawled under and put the clamp around the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" that I bought along with this purchase and snapped in my existing 7 way and it was all set up. Very sturdy, though I was concerned with how stable it would when I purchased it. Turns out it is really solid, very happy with the setup. The hitch is a really beefy, so I'm quite pleased with it as well. I did enlist the help of a friend to get it up into place, which I think was the easiest path. If one had to, you could do it alone, but so much easier with a couple of extra hands. All in all, probably took 2 hours for the complete install.
I had a standard OEM hitch that I had used to attach a 9000 lbs pull capacity winch to pull up trees on my property, consequently, it stretched/hogged out my 5/8" pin hole, so every time I stopped or started with a trailer, it would slap around. Turns out the OEM hitch is rated for 7500 lbs, this Curt Hitch is rated at 16,000, so I should have no future problems. I'm happy with the setup. I expected that Curt would have engineered a better way to attach the 7 way when they designed the Hitch, I expected better from them.
Great product, works as expected, and easy to install thanks to video provided. Gave it 4 stars vs 5 as clamp provided for trailer mounting bracket was too short. This was after confirming size with representative over the phone. Short bracket and long bracket offer the same 4-inch strap to secure onto hitch. My trailer hitch measures 3.5 x 3.5 inches, ended up securing long plate with large tie strap. Also hardware supplied to fasten bracket should be stainless steel but that's an easy upgrade to complete.
Needed to replace my trailer connector as my oem was broken and also my oem hitch as well. Mike Lindsay made it happen for me to make sure i could get my connector and proper mount to work.

Solid construction and simple to install. The design of the clamp is fantastic.
This turned out to be a very good purchase because it put the 4 pin connector in the perfect location when assembled and in use!
This is for someone who has not installed the trailer plug already even though the concept is a nice design it has no slit for the cable that runs usually to the front of the hood connected and secured on chassis.
Very easy to install. Looks good.

These are some of my favorites, easy to install and looks clean! I am glad it is working out for you. What are you towing with that Nissan?
I am having a problem with the install of the three Curt trailer components I purchased. I intentionally bought all of the same brand assuming that they would work together. The problem is that the Curt wiring harness (part# C55774) is too long and rigid. When the 7-pin connector is installed in the bracket that comes with it, it measure 5 inches until the black wire protective sleeve bends (to go under the hitch receiver frame).
The no-drill bracket (part# C57202) is supposed to attach the harness bracket to the hitch. But it is only 6.5" long, and the hitch tube is 3" wide. So with the bracket attached to the hitch, there is only 3.5" of space left to mount the harness bracket so that the screw holes line up.
I am disappointed that this is the case, especially as I called etrailer to check that the parts I was ordering would work together.
It looks like I will have to discard C57202 and drill two holes into the bottom of the hitch and mount the harness bracket directly. This is what I wanted to avoid - having to drill holes.

The 7-way bracket that comes with the wiring harness part # C55774 is designed to be installed with the wiring harness bracket hanging below the no drill bracket part # C57202. Since you are worried about the loose wiring I would recommend using some wire loom such as part # 459075-1 to protect your wiring and zip tie any slack with zip ties part # DW05726-25. I know this is not the option you wanted but I feel it is better than drilling into the hitch.
Had to modify the bracket a bit to work on the Honda Pilot. The bumper extends well below the hitch support bars, and I didn't want to cut into the plastic bumper. Flattened the bracket and drilled two new holes in the bracket. The "hose clamp" worked fine to attach the bracket to the hitch support bars.
This bracket completely solved the issue of my 7=pin socket being too low. It took me awhile to get the old bracket off, position this new one correctly, and get it tightened down, but it's exactly what I needed.
High quality bracket but doesnt fit 2024 Subaru outback OEM hitch adaptor plate.
Didn't work well on a RAV 4 2026 PHEV. The bracket did not fit over the top so had to be secured under the hitch making it low. Metal band hard to work with. It works but back lip could have been bigger and more solid.
Used it with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2". When doing so, it is too high and above the bottom of the bumper, even with the Curt Mounting Bracket for 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, it's too high to use the connector. I had to mount ut upside down. Hopefully it stays attached.
