Good question, Todd!
I looked at some pictures we have of the Curt # C37RV hitch installed on a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe and I think I found a good way to do it. Take a look at the picture I have included and you will see what I am thinking (circled in red). Mounting the # 18136 bracket to the bottom of the hitch should allow it to completely clear the bumper fascia, and it will come out far enough to allow easy access as well.
From here, you will need to choose wiring if you haven't already. We have the Curt # C29ZV 4 -flat that is confirmed to fit, but will need to have the # ETBC7 added on to upgrade it to a 7-way. This will have a bracket included that would attach to the # 18136 so you would not need any other parts (other than a brake controller). This will be the option if you are in a hurry.
The Curt # C48RV is a plug and play 7-way, but it is not currently available (07/2025). I don't have a release date for this but if you are willing to wait, it will be an easier install. I am also not sure what kind of bracket it will come with, but odds are it will also fit with the # 18136. If you are ok with waiting a little bit, this will be the better option.
That are you planning on towing with your Santa Fe?
