Question:

Follow-up question: Im not sure what a factory back-up sensor is. Does it mean backup camera? Or maybe the backup cross traffic warning? I have EX with Honda Sensing. Also, I am afraid the provided plug will not fit what I have. You can see from the attached picture my factory hitch has a different shape and hole pattern than your plug housing. I dont see how PK12711U and C57202 will combine to make this work.

The correct 7-way wiring harness for your 2018 Honda Pilot is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118286. In order to mount either connector to the exterior of the vehicle you are going to want to use both part # PK12711U and part # C57202.

A backup sensor is not the same as a backup camera. A backup sensor will provide an audible alert if you are within the range of the system while backing up and approaching a stationary object. There will be sensors in the rear bumper that I have attached a photo of for you. I did not receive a photo but as you can see in the other picture I have attached, the no-drill bracket part # C57202 wraps around the hitch and then the part # PK12711U attaches to that. If you already have a mounting tab on your factory hitch then you just need part # PK12711U.
