The black anodized machine screws have begun to rust after one year. Stainless hardware would have been less visually appealing, but would likely have not rusted. 668051

The only problem I had was the self tapping screws included with the kit. Before the screws reached the threads the heads broke off. Make sure you have some extra on hand 725721

This was a great fit with the 7-pole connector that I ordered from etrailer. The installation video for the 7-pole connector explained how to install this piece as well. For my installation, I used longer screws than what came with the part because of the shape of my bumper fascia, but I would order this again if I was installing another connector. 651598

I ordered a receiver, wiring and brake controller for my new Nissan Frontier. Christopher was great to deal with and he handled making sure my order was complete and correct. He answered all my questions. The items arrived promptly and I began the install. There were two issues - not unusual, and in both instances a call to etrailer resulted in friendly, knowledgeable folks giving me fast, correct advice/fixes/email articles that made the install a snap. I've forgotten the first women's name (sorry!) Molly handled the second issue and within minutes had the answer to why my trailer brakes were locking. She sent me an article detailing how some of the wiring from Nissan was installed backward, how to diagnose this was my issue and how to correct it. That made short work of that issue. Accept that those of us who do these installs only a couple of times in our life will have questions/issues and buy from the folks who are going to provide the experience and help to make the project quick and enjoyable. I wouldn't buy anywhere else. 655152

My F150 had an OEM 4 pin trailer plug and hitch. The 118242 - 7 pin connector with wiring harness is the ticket. The hardest part of the install was dropping the spare tire. The plugs connect directly to the factory plugs and the harness length is the correct length. The 3035-P brake controller connector harness was just as easy. Plugs right in to the OEM plug next to the ECM connector and the other end into the brake controller. The PK12711U-26 - 7 pin bracket and hardware kit fastens directly the OEM bracket that is on the hitch. My truck had an OEM 4 pin trailer towing set up with the hitch. The OEM hitch had the bracket welded on it to attach the 7 pin mounting bracket to it. These kits make this install very easy and professional looking. If I have one complaint, the hardware kit to attach the 7 pin connector bracket is set up to fasten the bracket directly to the bumper with 2 - self tapping screws provided in the kit. The kit also includes 4 #12 machine screws with toothed washer nuts to attached the 7 pin connector to the bracket. This is fine if your truck hitch doesn't have an attaching bracket welded to it. The kit should included in it 6 #12 machine screws and nuts along with the 2 self tapping screws. Since my OEM hitch actually had a bracket welded to it to attach the 7 pin bracket to it, I had to use two other #12 screws and nuts to attach the 7 pin bracket to the OEM bracket on the hitch. Not a big deal, just a thought. It took me about 2 hours, start to finish to install the 7 pin connector, trailer controller, and add the two relays in the OEM relay/fuse box under the hood. I highly recommend these kits. 166106

It was suggested I purchase this bracket to assist in mounting my 7-way trailer harness (item #118253) to my 2010 Honda pilot. When I tried to attach the bracket underneath and behind the bumper, I discovered it was too tall and very difficult to fit where it was required. I also found that the bracket is a 90-degree bend and will not go flush against the bumper wall. The bumper wall runs at an angle and you would need a bracket with an approx 35-degree angle to fit flush against the bumper, that's important if you want a professional clean looking mounting of the trailer harness (7- way insert) like I installed (see attached pics). So forget this bracket, Just save your money and mount onto the bumper wall, plenty thickness and you get a clean look...Maybe one day they will make the proper bracket for such an installation... 423809

I purchased a draw-tite hitch, wiring harness, motinting bracket and dielectric grease for my chevy traverse. I am very pleased with quality of these products and service. I do not usually take the time to write reviews, unless the company really impressed me. I am impressed how quickly they got this heavy package to me. They put together excellent installation videos on how to successfully install everything yourself. They delivered great customer service when I reached out to them on missing hardware for the wiring harness mounting bracket. They promptly send me the missing parts. I will come back to etrailer in my next hitch project. 795999

Great mounting bracket to use with product 75282 hitch receiver. Reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that as you see in the picture, there are 4 bolts/nuts and 2 sheet metal screws. When you watch the installation video of part 118266, this part is shown also being installed and in the video, there are 6 bolts/nuts needed. 2 for the top assembly to hold to the hitch receiver and 4 to connect the 7 way trailer connector. Luckily I had couple of bolts I used for the top mounts but this really needs to come with 6 bolts/nuts for the complete install. Other than that, the product itself is solid. 783259

  • Bracket for Mounting 7-Way Install on 2019 Nissan Pathfinder with Curt Hitch
Since the Curt hitch part # C13309 that fits your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder doesn't have a trailer wiring bracket (none of the hitches for your vehicle do) the best options is to use a bracket # PK12711U attached to the lower rear fascia so that you can easily mount the 7-way kit that also fits your vehicle part # C56357. I attached a picture that shows what the wiring connectors look like at the rear of your vehicle as well.

  • What is the Diameter of the Center Hole of the Pollak 7-pole RV Style Trailer Connector Bracket
The diameter of the center hole on the Pollak # PK12711U is 2 inches. Additionally, the overall height of the bracket is 3-3/4 inches, the width of the bracket, the depth of the bracket is 1-1/4 inches, and the distance between the center mounting holes is 2-1/4 inches. I have included a diagram showing these measurements for your reference.

  • Special Drill Bit for Drilling Into the Bumper of a 1992 Chevy C/K Series Truck
For hard to drill metal surfaces I recommend a rotabroach bit. We have several of these, see link, but they will probably be too large for for a 7-way mounting bracket. You can also try to use self-tapping screws like # 1172904 instead of drilling. For adding new wiring and brakes, I have included a link to a video that should help. For a 1992 Chevy C/K series truck, I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885. It is one of our most popular controllers because it is easy to set up and easy to use.

  • 7-Way Trailer Wiring Connector Mounting Bracket for a 2011 Nissan Frontier
I recommend using the Pollak 7-Way Mounting Bracket, # PK12711U, over the Draw-Tite 7-Way Mounting Bracket, # 18138, because the slotted holes allow for fit to many different manufacturers 7-Way trailer connectors. To make the installation easy and avoid drilling, I would recommend a no drill bracket. We have a short model, # 18140, and a long model, # C57202.
