Needing Bushing and Wet Bolt Kit for EquaFlex Equalizers

Question:

I have an older version of the Equaflex Trailair equalizers on my 2011 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel and I was wondering if you have a wet bolt kit for that version with a bushing kit as well? Thanks

Hey Tom, If your Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers came with bronze bushings you can replace them with the Bronze Bushing - 9/16" Inner Diameter, 11/16" Outer Diameter - 1-3/4" Long - Qty 1 item # D014-077-00. These will replace all three bushings on the equalizer.

What model Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers do you have? There should be a part number on the front of them. Some of these came with Never Fail bushings already installed. These won't be bronze and you would need to contact Lippert for a warranty replacement.

For a wet bolt kit though you would need the part # LC64FR.

Hey Tom, were you able to confirm which model of Equa-Flex equalizers you have on your Cougar? Knowing that could help others figure out whether they need the bronze bushings or to reach out to Lippert for replacements. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.

@JamesonC I haven't had time to investigate further but I did discover that this wasn't necessarily an upgrade but were on the 2011 Cougar when it was built.
