I modified spare tire location (needed more tongue weight), so replaced top mount crank jack with side wind version. Shipping speed was upgraded sans asking and received item just before my next trip. Installed in 5 minutes and jack is much more ergonomic than original. Whenever I need anything trailer or pick up truck related, I don't even bother shopping around, for etrailer pretty much has everything! Customer service is outstanding even with returns or replacements. Completely satisfied with product and service.

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

The replacement tongue jack fit perfectly (hole alignment) and the movement is back to the way the original jack worked when brand new. Haven't used it in its full range yet, but so far looks promising. Just a little concerned about the top cover of the jack which appears that it would let rain water into the gear box. I applied a quart size zip lock bag which should keep the rain out.

The TJA-5000S-B jack I ordered was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install. The photos show the old jack and the new jack that I needed so that I could mount 2 bikes on front of my Forrest River A-frame camping trailer.

Product came on time, as advertised. Had a hard time believing the low price!! My old jack was so damaged I had to persuade it off with hammer and chisel, but then this jack went on in minutes. Functions smoothly. Couldn't be happier. etrailer has all my future trailer business. Five Stars.

Works as intended. I have it on a small 20ft camper that weighs about 4k Lbs. I recommend adding grease and an adjustable bottom with a quick release pin.

Jack works fine, but arrived with several dings and chips in paint. I realize it will probably get that way eventually anyway, but would expect it to arrive looking new.

It's decent jack for the money and it gets the job done. Fit and Finish is okay. What I don't like - the crank should be reversible. Sometimes the crank to the rear is much better. When you stand on the drivers side (which you almost always do) it's awkward. The crank is vulnerable to damage from the vehicle backing up and tailgate up/down motion. I tried to reverse but the design is asymmetric - so No Go. Dummies.., it would be so simple at no additional cost. Does Any Manufacturer Actually Use What They Make???

This jack has the standard mounting plate with 3 bolt holes that are evenly spaced apart. Therefore you can turn it around to face the sides but unfortunately the design does not allow the jack to face rearwards.

I bought this for a basketball goal replacement and it worked out GREAT!! It raises the backboard with ease, and my 8 year old daughter loves it. It shipped out faster than I was expecting, and it arrived in just a few days. Awesome job towards Etrailer!!!!!!

- Replacement Jack # TJA-5000S-B for Jack On Trailer with Damaged ThreadsYou definitely do have a damaged screw and nut in your Bulldog jack # BD1550100317 based on what you described. Since those parts aren't available you'll have to replace the jack entirely or possibly just swap the internals from the new to the old. What happened is that you over-extended your trailer jack which is what ruined the threads of the jack. For a replacement, I recommend the Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B.
