Today, we're gonna be taking a look at a nice accessory for your trailer jacks. So if you have a inner tube of two inches in diameter, we're gonna be able to put this little wheel on here. The nice thing about this wheel is whenever we're a little bit off getting our ball mount lined up with our coupler we're gonna be able to put this thing on so we can actually move it around. So this one is gonna be able to completely rotate around. It comes with the pin, which is awesome. So all you have to do is just slide it on and snap it in to place.
So the wheel is gonna have a diameter of 6 inches. It's about 2 inches thick, so it shouldn't sink down into the ground at all. And it is made of a polyolefin material which is gonna be extremely hard, so you don't have to worry about it cracking over time. If it does crack, maybe you have it for years and years and years, we do have a replacement wheel, so you don't have to buy the whole entire thing. I do like how it kind of swivels around so you can get that angle that you need.
You can move it wherever you really need, which is always a plus. And then everything else besides the wheel is gonna be made of a steel material which has a zinc-coated finish so it's not gonna rust away either. So it's gonna move nice and freely for a long time. The lighter the load, it's gonna be a little bit easier to move. So with nothing on our trailer, this is a pretty big trailer, but as you can see, I can really deviate right and left pretty good.
I can roll it this way, roll it back. I'm not the strongest fella. So it is pretty easy, but we do wanna make sure we're not gonna overload it. Yes, this jack can have up to 3000 pounds on it but the foot plate is gonna have a capacity of 1200 pounds. So we don't wanna overload that 'cause then we might bend some material or crack our wheel.
Whether you have a trailer for work or play this is gonna make it a little bit quicker to get it lined up with your ball mount and also it's gonna be a little bit easier to maybe store this trailer. So if we have it completely unloaded, we wanna get it in a certain little spot and we can't really back up perfectly to it, you can use this to kind of wheel it around and get it exactly where you need. So you have a little bit more space at your house, at your business, wherever it may be. I do think that this is pretty much an essential thing when it comes to trailer jacks, might as well get a wheel so you can move it, just enable your trailer to do a little bit more. When it comes to a wheel on the bottom of your jack, we have a couple options on our website. This is a 6 inch wheel. Some of 'em are 7 inches wheels, and then some of 'em actually have two. So if you want to increase the surface area if you're parking it in the grass and you really don't want to sink down, you can get one that'll have two wheels, so it'll double your surface area. So it won't sink down. Just know we have a lot of different options. We just wanna make sure we get one that's gonna be the right weight capacity for the load that we have. And that's pretty much it for our look at the 6-inch caster for our trailer jacks..

Works enabling me to easily move my utility trailer, either loaded or empty. Like that it is pinned so I can remove it when trailer is connected to truck so that jack is not too low to ground/pavement. Plus, it allows me not to have to raise/lower the jack as much. Great investment.
I really like this wheel. I did have to cut off a piece of metal that was welded on the bottom of my jack but I don't think that would be the case with most hitches. Once I got it cut off it was a matter of just slipping the wheel receiver over the jack pole and installing the pin. I was able to very easily push my heavy duty 5' x 8' utility trailer around even over a dirt area with no trouble at all! Very glad I bought it. I may have to remove it during towing because it does hang down a bit but it's easy to take off with the provided pin. I received my wheel in just a few days after I ordered it.
I did receive today and the wheel looks great. Looking forward to using it. The only thing I want to mention is that I was given the opportunity to pay a little more and I did in order to receive faster, but did not.
Feels very beefy and was very happy with price. I had to drill the caster wheel's pin holes to 1/2" in order to be able to able to run the pin through bottom of the jack. My jack may not be perfect, bit I still would have rather drilled the caster over the bottom of the jack/cut off some material from the bottom of the jack.
Combo of this part #JC-101and Item Item #PS1400700340 allows me both options. The construction quality seems great, and the parts were just what I wanted and at an excellent price. Easy half-hour conversion of my old jack, with only a grinder and drill. etrailer took good care of me, items well packaged, and I received them faster than promised.

This caster wheel was used to replace the fixed plate on the original jack foot. It fit perfectly over the tube which only required drilling two holes for the pin.
I got my handle fixed on Jack on my large trailer . Had trailer 20 years , toot old tool for modern supplies to supply Jack handle . Trailer frame is A frame / center . This wheel is for replace I have off of camping trailer / electric Jack top . Some day I will need to put strong steel plate to support A frame

This wheel assembly fit snuggly and was straight-forward to install. It makes moving my utility trailer around a simple one-person operation. It is so much easier to roll the trailer up to the hitch than to try to back the vehicle up to align with the trailer. With this wheel on the front I can unhitch the trailer and walk it anywhere I want, and turning it around is no longer a big deal. Our driveway is difficult to turn the trailer around and I HATE trying to back the trailer into the drive. (People are not very patient and they honk and make rude gestures!) This is the First item I bought after I brought my "new" utility trailer home. It makes it such a breeze to use the trailer since it only takes 5 minutes for one person to roll it over, hook it up, pop off the wheel (store it in the trunk) and GO!
I recently bought a 5 x 10 landscape trailer to replace my small 4 x 8 utility trailer. I soon found I could not move the new trailer around by myself. I had put a bolt on jack with a wheel on the straight tongue of the small trailer and it was simple to move around even on grass. The bigger trailer had a welded jack in the A-frame tongue with a welded sand pad. I received this 6" wheel in three days, cut the sand pad off and drilled a hole through the jack shaft. Wheel installed perfectly in about 20 minutes. I was able to guide the trailer to the back yard and position it behind my garden shed without any help. Well worth the money. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
I have found that the products available through etrailer are step above many other outlets for trailer needs.
